Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to a tire improved in a shoulder portion, and more particularly, to a tire for a vehicle having a reinforcing rib in an edge groove of a shoulder portion to improve the rigidity of the shoulder portion.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] Tires are aimed at traction of a vehicle. As the performance of a vehicle is improved and a variety of functions and performance required for tires are being developed in various complex forms in accordance with the use environment, that is, , Demand characteristics of tires are also becoming increasingly complicated.
The tire comprises a sidewall on both sides of the tread and tread and a bead portion on the sidewall end. When such a tire is mounted on a vehicle, an empty space is formed between the tire and the road surface. As a result, the contact between the tread and the road surface is not properly performed, and the tread and the road surface are irregularly rubbed to increase the wear of the tread. An uneven wear phenomenon may occur. When the tire is subjected to such uneven wear, the handling performance becomes poor, and the rotational resistance becomes large due to the momentary friction.
Conventional pneumatic tires have been manufactured by inserting decoupling grooves or by forming grooves in side portions to reduce irregular wear of the tread shoulder. However, such a conventional tire can not maintain the rigidity of the shoulder portion uniformly, and thus has limitations in suppressing occurrence of shoulder portion uneven wear.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a tire capable of preventing abnormal wear or deflection of a tire by improving a shoulder portion of the tire.

1 and 2, a vehicle tire according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a
It is a shoulder part that prevents the car from slipping when the car is tilted due to the centrifugal force during rotation of the vehicle equipped with the tire, so that the car can rotate safely.
The tire of one embodiment of the present invention includes at least one
1, each of the
The tire of the present invention has the effect of increasing the rigidity of the shoulder tread rubber by supporting the greater force by the reinforcing ribs (51, 52, 53, 54) of the shoulder during running of the tire. That is, according to the present invention, since the design can be made while maintaining the width of the groove of the shoulder portion, the rigidity can be improved while maintaining the ground contact area.
In the present invention, the
As shown in Fig. 3, the reason why the reinforcing ribs whose curvature becomes smaller toward the shoulder portion is selected is that the drainage performance is considered for the stiffness effect. The biggest factor affecting drainage is drainage area. The reinforcing rib has a curved surface with a smaller R value toward the shoulder portion and has a curvature or a wider area than the reinforcing ribs formed with the same curvature in the shoulder direction.
In the present invention, the inclination angle of the front surface of the reinforcing rib may be 90 degrees to 130 degrees with respect to the bottom surface of the groove. Wherein the curvature of the curved surface of the first reinforcing rib, the second reinforcing rib, the third reinforcing rib, and the fourth reinforcing rib is reduced toward the shoulder direction of the tire, The curvatures of the sides are the same. Both sides of one reinforcing rib have curved surfaces of different inclination angles. For example, referring to FIG. 3, the first reinforcing
Therefore, the tire of the present invention can improve the rigidity of the shoulder portion through the reinforcing ribs, thereby improving the cornering and handling performance.
