Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove the influence of a rush current generated at the time of inputting a power source and to surely demagnetize a color CRT by starting a current flowing to a demagnetizing coil when a prescribed delaying time passes after the power source is inputted. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 22 is inputted, a power source detecting circuit 27 is operated, and a first timer circuit 28 starts to time a delaying time T1. At the time when the delaying time T1 passes, a current-flowing start signal is sent from the first timer circuit 28 to a second timer circuit 29. The second timer circuit 29 starts to time a current-flowing time T2 and, simultaneously, a sends a current-flowing signal at a high level to a waveform shaping circuit 30. By the waveform shaping circuit 30, a TRIAC24 is conducted, and an alternating current supplied from a power source 21 is started to flow to a demagnetizing coil 26. At the time when the current-flowing time T2 passes, the TRIAC24 is interrupted, and the current of the demagnetizing coil 26 is interrupted.
