Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a waste of water while preventing water from being scattered when a nozzle is directed upward by detecting the inclination of said nozzle, and making control of said nozzle so as to jet out water based on the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:When a nozzle 11 is directed downward, a second shielding body 14b (magnetic body) is moved in between a lead switch 17 and a magnet 18, closing the switch 17, and water is jetted out via a hose 10, through the rotation of a motor. When the jet is to be stopped under this condition, a lever 15 is slightly pulled against a spring 16, a first shielding body 14a-2 (non- magnetic body) is moved in between the switch 17 and the magnet 18, the switch 17 is opened, and the rotation of the motor is stopped, to stop the jet of water. When the nozzle 11 is directed upward, water will not be jetted out since the shielding body 14b is lowered down to the rear end of an inner bore 13a, opening the switch 17. When a car is to be washed under this condition, however, the lever 15 is fully pulled to move the magnetic body part 14a-1 of the shielding body 14a in between the switch 17 and the magnet 18.

[Prior Art] Recently, when a coin (for example, 100 yen) is inserted and a start switch is pressed, water or cleaning water containing wax or detergent (hereinafter simply referred to as water) is sprayed from a nozzle for a predetermined period of time (for example, 5 minutes). A simple car washing device of the so-called vending machine type is known, which washes the car using the water.

By the way, in this type of car wash device, water is sprayed from the nozzle immediately when the start switch is pressed, and water is also sprayed from the nozzle while the nozzle is being moved from the car wash device to the car or while the nozzle is being moved during the car wash. If the nozzle is turned upward, water will be wasted, and if the nozzle is turned upward by mistake, the water will scatter.
