Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the eyes' fatigue and to permit long-term operation by supporting colored lenses apart from the eyeball to the extent of preventing the lenses from entering the visual field when the eyes are shifted downward while the colored lenses are held mounted to the position where the lenses face exactly the eyeball when spectacles are worn and providing successively transparent lenses below the colored lenses by curving said lenses so as to be positioned near to the face. CONSTITUTION:An inside polarizing lens 1 and an outside polarizing lens 2 are used in two pieces a set to provide a polarizing effect with the spectacles for terminal operation for a person having the normal eyes. Such lenses soften the light from a display which is the transmitted light thus changing the same to the less eye-stimulating light. The spectacles consist of temples 3 for supporting the polarizing lenses by being hooked to the ears, pads 4 for supporting the polarizing spectacle by being applied on the nose, frame bodies 5 for the inside polarizing lenses and frame bodies 6 for the outside polarizing lenses. The frame bodies support the polarizing lenses so that at least either of the polarizing lenses can be turned. The means for turning the lens may consist of turning knobs provided to the respective lenses so as to project therefrom or may consist of teeth provided to part of the lens circumferences and be provided with racks or chains to be engaged therewith so that the right and left outside polarizing lenses can be simultaneously turned.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to eye-strain glasses developed for people who operate a keyboard while looking at the display device of a terminal device connected to a computer, etc. When viewing a screen, view through a tinted lens or a pair of polarized lenses; when operating a keyboard, view directly through a tinted or polarized lens or through a clear lens; This is designed to eliminate eye fatigue by viewing through a lens.

(a. Technical background) A person who operates a terminal device connected to a computer must repeatedly look at the displayed screen and the keyboard alternately at short intervals, resulting in visual impairment and, in some cases, severe headaches. Cases have been reported in which it causes nausea, nerve damage, etc., and it has become a major social problem in the age of computers, and the Ministry of Labor and Welfare and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry are struggling to take countermeasures. Therefore, various research institutes are investigating this problem, but no effective solution has been found so far.

(b. Prior art) In order to eliminate eye fatigue for people who operate terminals connected to computers, sunglasses with a colored lens on the top and a transparent lens on the bottom have been used up until now, but it is not possible to use regular glasses. Because the device is supported so close to the eyeballs, it is difficult to see the display screen or when trying to operate the keyboard, making the eyes tired.

(c. Problem to be Solved) The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art. When viewing a displayed screen, the eyes are directly stimulated by colored lenses or a pair of polarized lenses, which is unique to transmitted light. When looking at the keyboard surface, you can see it directly as you would with natural reflected light, or through a clear glass plate, or even through normal nearsightedness or farsighted lenses. In addition, we have developed glasses for operating computer terminals that eliminate the difficulty of seeing through one lens and preventing the other lens from entering the field of vision, which is unavoidable with dual-use glasses. It's about getting.

(d. Means for Solving the Problem) In order to solve the second problem, in the present invention, colored lenses or a pair of polarized lenses are placed in front of the eyes when worn, compared to ordinary glasses. The polarized lenses are supported at a position farther from the eyes than known sunglass-type display glasses, and in a pair of left and right polarized lenses, at least one of the left and right polarized lenses is rotatable. The degree of polarization can be adjusted freely, and when viewing the display screen, there are colored or polarized lenses in front of the eyes, so even if the screen is located far away from the eyes, it may be difficult to see. There is nothing wrong with that,
Moreover, when looking at the keyboard, if you lower your eyes, the colored or polarized lenses are located far away from your eyes, so the light reflected from the keyboard goes directly into your mouth without passing through the polarized lenses, making it dark. You can see the keyboard in its natural state. That is, since the colored lenses or polarized lenses are located away from the eyes, the colored lenses or polarized lenses do not enter the user's field of vision and obstruct the user's view when viewing the keyboard. Further, in the present invention, a transparent glass plate or plastic plate may be provided below the colored lens or polarized lens by bending it so as to approach the face.

Furthermore, for people with nearsightedness or farsightedness, one of the polarized lenses should have a polarizing function and be a concave or convex lens for nearsightedness or farsightedness, and a colored lens or a lens below these polarized lenses should be used. The bent surface is shaped so as to approach the face and has a lens function for nearsightedness or farsightedness.

The keyboard lens (15) is made of transparent glass or plastic, and has the effect of eliminating eye fatigue by processing a concave or convex lens for nearsightedness or farsightedness. Yamabe (

It is possible to obtain any degree of polarization. Furthermore, (14) is a nose pad for supporting the glasses, and 08) is a side support frame that rotatably supports the outer polarizing lens.

To support such polarized glasses, instead of using the nose pad as shown in the figure, fold the lower end of the keyboard lens inward and use a wider line on the face or across the nose. Alternatively, as shown in Figure 6.7, instead of wearing it over the ear, a holder (goods) may be provided that extends the top or side of the inner polarized lens in a linear manner, or Another member may be attached to support the head or the side of the face. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 9.10, a helmet-type holder (goods) may be provided that completely extends the top and side parts of the inner polarized lens (2+1) and completely covers the head.

(f. Effect) The present invention uses a colored lens or a pair of polarized lenses to make the path of light that enters the eye different when viewing the screen of a terminal device connected to a computer and when viewing the keyboard. The lens is placed in front of the eyes and at a distance from the eyes to the extent that it cannot be seen when looking at the keyboard below, so when viewing the displayed screen, the transmitted light is softened by the colored or polarized lenses, making it difficult for the eyes. Since the heat light enters the eyes, it does not become dark, and the keyboard can be operated in a natural state, so there is no eye fatigue and it is possible to operate for a long time.
