Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a flame to reach a long distance and prevent carbon produced from impurities in oil fuel from being adhered to a combustion opening at the burner by a method wherein the structure of combustion cylinder is improved. CONSTITUTION:In a burner in which oil fuel is injected into a nozzle 1 together with air, ignited in a combustion cylinder 2 and combustioned therein, an inner cylinder 3 having porous wall therein which is tapered to cause its extremity end to be narrowed is arranged in the combustion cylinder 2. Compressed air is fed into a secondary air feeding pipe 7, an outside part of the inner cylinder 3 in the cmbustion cylinder 2 shows a higher pressure to cause the secondary air to be injected through the porous wall in the inner cylinder 3. When the nozzle 1 is ignited, a flame A is enclosed by the secondary air injected therearound, while the flame is gradually narrowed due to the tapered inner cylinder 3, resulting in making a long flame. Further, the injection of the secondary air enclosing the flame prevents the carbon from being adhered to the inner cylinder and so a life of the burner is extended.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to an injection burner that has been developed to allow the flame to reach a long distance and to prevent carbon generated from impurities in oil fuel from adhering to the burner crater. It is.

A burner used for pottery such as roof tiles or firing process requires a burner with a long flame, for example, in order to make the flame reach the depths of a horizontal furnace.

Conventionally, in order to increase the length of a fire, it was natural to increase the pressure of the supplied air, but in addition, measures were taken to narrow the opening of the fuel cylinder. In this case, the fire nozzle was required to be made of a material with strong fire resistance, and if the material inevitably became brittle, deposits such as carbon would accumulate in that part, which blocked the fire nozzle. For this reason, refined fuel oil such as kerosene has been required, but the present invention prefers to use inexpensive heavy oil.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the injection burner according to the present invention. In the burner, oil fuel is injected together with air into the nozzle 1 and ignited in the combustion tube 2 for combustion. An inner cylinder 3 having a tapered porous wall is provided, and a mechanism for supplying secondary air passing through the inner cylinder 3 from the outside is constructed. In the figure, 4 is a spark plug, 5 is a fuel supply pipe to nozzle 1, 6 is a primary air supply pipe, and 7 is a fuel supply pipe to nozzle 1.
is the secondary air supply pipe. Compressed air is inserted into the secondary air inlet pipe 7, and the outside of the inner cylinder 3 in the combustion cylinder 2 becomes high pressure, so that the secondary air penetrates the porous wall of the inner cylinder 3 and blows out.

Therefore, if the present invention is carried out, the fire A that ignites the nozzle 1 and burns will be surrounded by secondary air blowing out from the surroundings, and since the inner tube 3 has a tapered shape, the fire A will gradually be narrowed down and will erupt for a long time. The ejection of secondary air surrounding the fire (2) has the advantage of preventing non-combustible materials (carbon, etc.) from adhering to the inner pipe, and extends the life of the burner.
