Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure and display a discomfort index easily by measuring temperature and a dew point electrically, and add the both signals at a prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 1 measures atmospheric temperature and applied its output to an amplifier 2 for calibration. The amplifier 2 multiplies the temperature from the sensor 1 by a prescribed coefficient and supplies the product to an adding and amplifying circuit 16. On the other hand, a cell 4 for dew-point measurement and a dew-point sensor 3 measures a dew point, which is applied to an amplifier 15 for dew-point calibration. The amplifier 15 multiplies the dew point by a prescribed coefficient and the product is supplied to the amplifying circuit 16. As a result, the amplifying circuit 16 outputs a signal showing a discomfort index, which is displayed on a display device 14. Thus, the discomfort index is measured and displayed easily.
