Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the yield of products by detecting the displacement states of a coated iron core which is being transferred continuously with the sensor parts of a pair of X-axis transformers and Y-axis transformers disposed with said iron core in- between. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of a pair of X-axis transformers 41, 42 and Y-axis transformers 51, 52 disposed with a coated iron core 3 which is being transferred in-between are inputted via preamplifiers 44, 54 to main amplifiers 46, 56, the outputs whereof are applied to potentiometers 48, 59, by which the displacement rates in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction are indicated. The outputs 15X, 15Y of the main amplifiers 46, 56 are applied to a display device 14 by which the central position of the core wire is displayed. They are also fed to an external control circuit by which the position of the core wire is corrected. On the other hand, the outputs of the main amplifiers 46, 56 are applied to an arithmetic circuit 16 as well, by which the absolute value of the displacement rates of the core wire is determined. The output thereof is compared with the set value of a setter 18 in a setting circuit 17, and when the output exceeds a permissible range, an alarm is emitted via a relay 19. Thereby, the yield of products is improved.
