Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid a paper loss due to duplicated conveyance by stopping an action of the first conveyance section in accordance with the timing in which the paper is fed from a storage section during duplicated conveyance in a feed control device of a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:Each time the paper is fed by a feed-paper roller, a timer in RAM is turned on to count a drum clock. If a paper detection sensor detects the paper while this timer is off, it is determined that duplicated conveyance has occurred, then after the timer is turned off an optical cystem is driven by a driver DR3 setting the timer on and turning it off, and the first conveyance section driving clutch FFC is turned off stopping its action. When the timer is set on and turned off, the clutch FFC is again turned on starting its action. When a timing control microswitch RHP of a register roller is turned on, a clutch ReG is actuated to feed the paper. By the way, the operating time of the timer corresponds to the time in which the first conveyance section is kept stopped during duplicated conveyance.
