Then, AM modulator 3 is supplied with a control signal for discriminating the music broadcast from other braodcasts. A modulated wave from modulator 2 includes the control signal as well as an audio signal in case of the music broadcast. Therefore, the reception side can automatically detect the music broadcast by detecting the control signal.
