Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify joining structure and reduce the number of parts by a construction wherein expanded portions or bent portions formed to the both side edge portions of a nonmagnetic conductor portion are connected with projections for connection each provided on both side edge portions of a ferromagnetic material portion continuously in the track lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:Concave portions 3b continuing in the track direction are formed to the side wall surfaces of a rail with a U-shaped section doubling as a ferromagnetic material portion of a reaction plate at the secondary side, and projections 3a for connection are built up to the both side edge portions. Both side edge expanded portions 11b projecting in the track lateral direction are made up to the both side edge portions of a reaction plate nonmagnetic conductor portion 11 with a plane portion 11a joined onto the rail 3. The nonmagnetic conductor portion 11 is joined to the rail 3 by connecting the both side edge expanded portions 11b of the nonmagnetic conductor portions 11 to the projection 3a for connection of the rail 3. In this case, both side edge expanded portions 11b of the nonmagnetic conductor portion 11 are formed so as to bend to a surface at the rail 3 side previously, pressed down to the rail 3 side by means of a roller, etc., and connected to the projections 3a for connection.
