PURPOSE:To insulate electrically the output transistor of an isolator from an output transistor controlling part, by using a DC/DC converter for a control power source which supplies electric power to a pin photodiode and the output transistor. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting LED11 turns of when input (a)10 to inverter 7 is at the high level and turns off when at the low level. The output light of LED11 is photodetected by pin photodiode 12. Then, a current flows to the base of output transistor TR13 of the isolator to turn on TR13. As LED11 turns off, the resistance value of diode 12 becomes infinite and the base current of TR13 is ceased, turning off TR13. Therefore, a base current is supplied from DC/DC converter 1 to the base of TR8 via resistance 4 and 8. Thus, TR8 turns on.
