Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the color temperature correction automatically and accurately, by detecting the surrounding light of objective with the detectors of red, green and blue light provided at the external of the camera console for color temperature correction. CONSTITUTION:The light collector 6 is provided on the upper part of the TV camera console 2. The color detectors 8, 10, 12 detecting red, green and blue light are provided in the light collector 6. The output of the detectors 8, 10, 12 is integrated with the integration circuits 14, 16, 18 and fed to the subtraction circuit 20. The circuit 20 introduces the signal subtracting green component from the red and blue light component respectively. These signals are held at the hold circuits 24, 24 via the limiter circuits 22, 22. On the other hand, the output signal from the pick up tube 30 is fed to the signal processing circuit as the red, green and blue signals. These red and blue signals are fed to the amplifiers 34, 36, to control the gain in response to the output level from the circuits 24, 24. Accordingly, each output level is equal to the green level being the reference for color temperature control.
