Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an actual run recording method which systematically manages the operation records of taxies, etc., by means of a car navigation system in order to print the place name or the ton name of the start and end points of the running route of a customer respectively on a prescribed form as necessary and then to read out or print these print contents after recording them in a memory. CONSTITUTION:An on-vehicle navigation system 1 is combined with a fare display mechanism of a taxi, etc., so that such necessary items are printed together or individually as the place names of a rough start point of the fare and a rough end point for adjustment of the fare, the taxi fare, the distance actually run, the running time, an entire or specific route, etc. When this recording method is applied to the tracks, the business vehicles used for sales activities, etc., in addition to the operation records of taxies, etc., the more effective business management is ensured.

2. Description of the Related Art An in-vehicle navigation system uses a distance sensor, a direction sensor, an angular velocity sensor, a distance sensor, a direction sensor, and an angular velocity sensor to display a position that changes with the movement of a vehicle based on map information digitized by satellite information. A sensor, a GPS device, and the like are provided, and signals output from these parts are input to a central processing unit (CPU) through an interface that performs analog / digital conversion and the like, and the movement amount of the vehicle is calculated. In addition, during arithmetic processing, a read-on-memory (ROM) in which various processing programs and necessary information are written, and random writing and reading of information necessary for executing the program are performed.
A display (CRT) as an image while mixing the access memory (RAM) with a graphic memory forming a CD-ROM or video RAM in which further digitized map information is recorded and a graphic memory such as a map input from the CPU A navigation system composed of a controller for displaying on the screen has been generalized.

Since the main purpose of this on-vehicle navigation system is an information providing system for efficiently guiding the driver to the destination, the vehicle moves to some extent on the road on the map displayed on the CRT. Since it is necessary to display what is being done, a means for correcting the current location is strictly required. On the other hand, when the destination is a place unknown to the driver, a navigation system equipped with a mechanism for searching a place name or a town name and reading a predetermined map on the CRT is often used.

On the other hand, drivers in the service industry, such as taxi, who receive a charge for the distance traveled, generally drive in a familiar area, and calculate the charge from the viewpoint of operation management. It is desirable to record the place name, town name, etc. at the starting point and the point where the fee is received.

Example 1 Next, the recording method of the present invention will be described based on examples. FIG. 1 is a block diagram for explaining an embodiment of the recording method of the present invention. The part surrounded by the one-dot chain line in the figure is a general navigation system 1, and the present invention is constructed by combining it with other parts. Next, a specific mode of operation will be described. First, the navigation system 1 is normally operated. The taxi driver then rides the passenger at the point where the vehicle becomes a real vehicle.
Turn 2 on. At the same time, the fee display mechanism 3 is started. The actual mileage is also displayed on the fare display mechanism. Regarding the number of mileages, the distance sensor in the navigation system 1 is not used, but the number of rotations of the vehicle is measured. Therefore, if the taxi is inspected once a year by a designated organization, it will not cause any problems. The signal in which the lever-2 is turned on is connected to the CPU of the navigation system 1 through the interface 4.

The map information of the navigation system can be displayed on a reduced scale of approximately 8 levels, and in the range of the maximum enlarged view, a 1.1 km × 1.4 km square map can be displayed on the CRT. is there. Since the place name, town name, intersection name, etc. on the CRT are displayed as an image, it can be confirmed that the mark of the own vehicle is located in a specific town, but the town name cannot be printed.

Therefore, as a guide, in this embodiment, a 100-m square mesh shown in FIG. 2 is superimposed on the map information with respect to the largest map, and one section is defined as a section (0: 0),
(0: 1), (0: 2) ... (1: 0), (1:
1) ... Digitize as (14:11) and convert the town name into character information corresponding to each section as shown in FIG. The name of the town is often duplicated in one section, but the one with the larger area is located on the left side in the direction of travel of the vehicle. The map scrolls on the CRT as the vehicle moves, but since the taxi operation range is generally limited, the area of the city should be small and the area of the section should be large.

When the lever-2 is turned on as described above when the taxi is loaded with passengers and becomes an actual vehicle, the section number of the vehicle's current location is sent to the town name recording medium 5 and converted into town information as character information. Printing is performed by the printer 7 through the interface 6. First, the recording paper 8 is printed starting from the point where the passenger is placed, the town name is printed as the ending point at the point where the passenger gets off, and then the actual number of miles traveled and the fare are also printed.

As described above, since the present invention utilizes the on-vehicle navigation system, the position of the own vehicle is uncertain at the point where the radio wave signal from the satellite cannot be received, for example, the point surrounded by the skyscrapers or the tunnel. In some cases, it becomes clear. Therefore, the starting point and the ending point of the charge calculation are set as the starting point and the ending point. In reality, the CPU can determine whether the own vehicle position has been corrected or not, but the own vehicle position on the CRT display may be printed regardless of these situations. This is because the actual traveling distance is displayed only by the mechanical mechanism section.

Second Embodiment In the present invention, the CRT of the navigation system 1 is not always necessary. When managing all operations of taxis, trucks, sales vehicles, etc.,
It is more convenient to continuously record the place name, town name, and time of the vehicle position. In the first embodiment, the digitized section is associated with the digitized vehicle position, and the section number or the corresponding place name is added every time the vehicle position crosses the section.
The town name may be recorded together with the time in a memory such as a floppy disk. The driver may report the daily operation status in the memory, but if the memory is printed out via a personal computer and the name of the visit is entered, the business report can be further enhanced.

As described above, according to the recording method of the present invention, the taxi driver can record the operation record of the working hours including the charge, so that the driver can stop the vehicle and manually record it. It saves you the hassle and saves you the hassle of worrying, and also makes it easy to find out which regions are profitable. In the present invention, the operation of the taxi is mainly focused, but in addition to this, the recording method can also be used for business management for trucks and sales vehicles related to sales.
