The light emitting portion is supported by the light guide seat while extending in a direction intersecting with the seat surface, and the electronic substrate is in a state in which one end of the terminal pin is inserted into the contact for connection. The light guide seat is formed on a light guide seat main body having a recess for fitting and supporting the light emitting part, and on the outer peripheral part of the light guide seat main body. a plate surface portion that comes into contact with the outer peripheral portion of the inner surface of the first through hole; and sandwiched between the first housing wall and the electronic substrate by the plate surface portion and the contact portion.

According to the above configuration, when assembling the waterproof electronic component, if the electronic board is placed on the seat while the terminal pins are electrically connected to the contacts of the electronic board, the electronic board can be accommodated in the housing while being positioned. can do. Contacts for electrical connection of electronic substrates include, for example, through holes and lands.

According to the above configuration, the sealing portion can be formed by sealing (filling) a region surrounded by the electronic substrate and the housing with a resin (sealing material) using a hot-melt method, a potting method, or the like. Also, the position of the electronic board, housing, LED, and light guide seat can be fixed by sealing with a sealing material.

According to the above configuration, the light emitted from the LED in the space (inside the sealing portion) surrounded by the housing and sealed with the sealing material is guided by the light guide seat and passed through the window. light can be guided to the outside of the housing.

According to the above configuration, before sealing the electronic board, the housing, the LEDs, and the light guide seat with the sealing material to fix their positions, the light guide seat is placed between the first housing wall and the electronic board. It can be temporarily fixed by sandwiching it between them. As a result, when the sealing portion is subsequently formed by sealing with a sealing material, the positional relationship between the light guide seat portion and the first housing wall is fixed in advance, and the accuracy of fixing by sealing is improved. be able to.

According to the above configuration, the plate surface portion is brought into surface contact with the outer peripheral portion on the inner surface side of the first through hole in the first housing wall, thereby preventing leakage of the sealing material during sealing, and sealing Later waterproofness can be improved.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light emitting device according to the present invention is that the light guide seat portion is fitted into the first through hole and further has an exposed portion exposed to the outside of the housing, and the plate surface portion is , and is formed as a stepped portion extending outward in the circumferential direction from the outer periphery of the exposed portion.

According to the above configuration, the exposed portion is formed as a projection that can be fitted into the first through hole. By fitting the exposed portion into the first through hole, the positional relationship between the light guide seat portion and the first housing wall is firmly maintained in the direction intersecting the extending direction of the first through hole, The light from the LED can be guided to the outside of the housing through the exposed portion. Further, according to the above configuration, for example, the surface portion of the stepped portion along the circumferential direction of the exposed portion becomes the plate surface portion, and comes into surface contact with the inner surface of the first housing wall. By fitting the exposed portion into the first through hole in this state of surface contact, the positional relationship between the light guide seat portion and the first housing wall is changed with respect to the direction intersecting the extending direction of the first through hole. Since it is kept strong, leakage of the sealing material at the time of sealing can be reliably prevented, and waterproofness after sealing can be sufficiently improved.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is that the contact portion includes a plurality of pillars extending from a position along the outer periphery of the recess, and the plurality of pillars extends from the outer periphery of the recess. is arranged in a circle surrounding the

According to the above configuration, since the sealing material is allowed to flow into between the plurality of pillars, which are the abutting portions, it is possible to achieve sealing without gaps around the light guide seat. In addition, it allows the sealing material to flow smoothly into the recess, ensuring the sealing of the LED.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is that the housing further has a second housing wall erected from an outer peripheral portion of the first housing wall, and the abutting portion comprises the It is separated from the second housing wall and formed in a columnar shape extending in a direction along the second housing wall.

According to the above configuration, the sealing portion seals at least the area surrounded by the electronic board, the first housing wall, and the second housing wall. The contact portion is formed in a columnar shape extending in the direction along the second housing wall. A tight seal around the seat can be achieved.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is that the seat portion is spaced apart from the second housing wall, and the second housing wall rises from the surface of the first housing wall. It is formed in a columnar shape extending in a direction along the installation direction, and the seat surface is an extending end face of the seat portion formed in a columnar shape.

According to the above configuration, the seat portion can be formed in a columnar shape and the end surface thereof can be used as the seat surface. By forming the seat into a columnar shape, a hollow space is secured in the space surrounded by the first housing wall and the second housing wall, and the sealing material can be smoothly supplied (enclosed). can be done.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is a connector having an insertion port into which a plug is inserted and removed and a fixed portion mounted and fixed on one side of the electronic substrate, and the connector is fitted inside. a design panel having a plate portion in which a second through hole is formed, and a part of the outer periphery of which is surrounded by the housing, wherein the insertion port is positioned outside the outer peripheral edge of the electronic substrate. and the plug is directed outward so that the insertion/removal direction of the plug is aligned with the plate surface of the electronic substrate, and the housing intersects the seat surface and extends along the outer periphery of the fixed portion. The design panel has a sealing wall extending so as to partially surround the surface, and the design panel is partially sealed by the sealing portion in a state in which the plate surface of the plate portion is opposed to the wall surface of the sealing wall. is embedded and fixed to the housing.

Further, according to the above configuration, the insertion opening of the connector is positioned outside the outer peripheral portion of the electronic substrate, and the design panel allows the insertion opening side of the connector to be inserted through the through hole. When the electronic board is placed on the seat and the connector insertion side is inserted into the through-hole of the decorative panel while the electronic board is housed in the housing, the board surface of the board part of the decorative panel and the wall surface of the sealing wall are brought into contact with each other. are facing each other. According to the above configuration, the design panel is partially embedded in the sealing portion and fixed to the housing while facing each other. As a result, when the area surrounded by the electronic board, the housing, and the design panel is filled with the sealing material to form a sealing portion for waterproofing, the electronic board, the housing, and the surroundings of the design panel and the connector can be protected from water. Intrusion of water into the area surrounded by the body and the design panel can be effectively prevented. At this time, since only a part of the design panel is embedded in the sealing portion, most of the design panel design can be seen from the outside, so that the appearance around the connector can be maintained. With the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a waterproof electronic component that achieves resistance to prying and waterproofness while maintaining the appearance of the periphery of the connector.

A further characteristic configuration of the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is that the electronic board is entirely housed in a space surrounded by the housing, the design panel, and the sealing portion. .

According to the above configuration, the entire electronic substrate can be embedded in the sealing portion to achieve reliable waterproofing.

The method for assembling the waterproof light emitting device according to the present invention for achieving the above object is characterized in that the light guide seat is fitted in the window, and the light emitting part of the LED is connected to the light guide seat. After extending one end of the terminal pin in a direction intersecting with the seat surface by supporting it with a portion, housing the electronic board in the housing while connecting one end of the terminal pin to the contact; The point is that the sealing portion is formed by injecting a sealing material into a region surrounded by the electronic substrate and the housing.

According to the above configuration, it is possible to efficiently assemble the waterproof light-emitting device while exhibiting the effects of the waterproof light-emitting device.

A further feature of the method for assembling the waterproof light-emitting device according to the present invention is that the sealing portion is formed by embedding the electronic substrate in the sealing material.

According to the above configuration, the entire electronic substrate can be embedded in the sealing portion to achieve reliable waterproofing.

A bottom surface 37a of the second recess 37 is a surface along a horizontal plane, and is a horizontal surface in this embodiment. As will be described later, the light guide seat portion 6 (see FIG. 3) is fitted into the second concave portion 37, and the light guide seat portion 6 comes into surface contact with the bottom surface 37a.

The window hole 39 is a linear through hole having a circular cross section when viewed in the vertical direction. As will be described later, the window hole 39 is fitted with the light guide seat portion 6 (see FIG. 3).

The plug C is a frame that can be fitted with an external connector (socket). The plug C is formed integrally with the housing 3 and has a cylindrical shape with a cylindrical wall extending outward from a second housing wall 32 on the right side of the housing 3 in the left-right direction. In the space inside the cylinder of the plug C, three pins P are arranged as external terminals with the other ends thereof exposed (see FIG. 2).

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the panel 4 exposes the insertion opening 20 (see FIG. 1) of the socket 2 to the outside, and has a predetermined design on the outer periphery of the insertion opening 20 exposed to the outside. It is a decorative plate for providing visibility and beauty. The panel 4 includes a plate portion 40 formed with a through hole 41 (an example of a second through hole) for fitting the socket 2 inside, and an outer frame extending cylindrically from the front surface of the plate portion 40 along the outer periphery of the through hole 41. 44 , plate spring portions 42 provided at both left and right ends of the plate portion 40 , and panel-side claw portions 43 formed on the plate spring portion 42 .

The plate portion 40 has a rectangular plate shape when viewed in the front-rear direction, and has a shape in which the lower left and right corners are chamfered, for example. A pair of notch-shaped grooves 45 (see FIG. 7) are formed in the lower end of the plate portion 40 along the front-rear direction. Slits 42a passing through in the front-rear direction along the vertical direction are formed slightly inside the left and right ends of the plate portion 40, so that the left and right ends of the plate portion 40 act as leaf spring portions 42 and move inward in the left-right direction. deformation is allowed. Panel-side claw portions 43 are formed on both left and right outer sides of the leaf spring portion 42 .

The panel-side claw portion 43 overlaps the housing-side claw portion 32b when the panel 4 is attached to the substrate 1 and the housing 3 when viewed in the front-rear direction. When the panel 4 is attached to the socket 2 and the housing 3 while the socket 2 is pushed into the through-hole 41, the panel-side claw 43 engages with the housing-side claw 32b of the housing 3 by, for example, a snap-fit method. match.

In this embodiment, when the panel 4 is attached to the substrate 1 and the housing 3, the panel-side claw portion 43 contacts the housing-side claw portion 32b from the front, and the panel-side claw portion 43 biases the housing-side claw portion 32b. Then, the plate spring portion 42 is deformed inward in the left-right direction by the amount of the slit 42a. This allows the panel-side claw portion 43 to pass rearward through the left-right direction inner side of the housing-side claw portion 32b. When the panel-side claw portion 43 is positioned behind the housing-side claw portion 32b, the leaf spring portion 42 is released from the urging force, and the panel-side claw portion 43 again overlaps the housing-side claw portion 32b when viewed in the front-rear direction. As a result, the panel 4 is locked between the sealing wall 70b and the second housing wall 32 on the front side of the housing 3 with the plate surface of the plate portion 40 of the panel 4 facing the sealing wall 70b. (Hereinafter, it may be described as a locked state). In addition, the movement of the panel 4 in the left-right direction and the front-rear direction is restricted by the socket 2 fitted in the through hole 41 . Further, the rear surface of the panel 4 abuts against the rib 70d, thereby restricting its rearward movement.

When the panel 4 is locked, the front end of the outer frame 44 is flush with the front second housing wall 32 . The through-hole 41 has an enlarged diameter portion 41a that is larger in diameter than the front hole portion on the rear side. The (front end) is flush with the front end of the through hole 41 (the front plate surface of the plate portion 40). By fitting the gasket 25 of the socket 2 into the enlarged diameter portion 41a, the flow of water (intrusion of water from the outside) between the gasket 25 and the inner peripheral surface of the enlarged diameter portion 41a is prevented.

When the panel 4 is locked, the pair of ribs 70c of the support portion 7 of the housing 3 are loosely (with a gap) fitted into the pair of grooves 45 of the plate portion 40 . This prevents rattling when the panel 4 is embedded and fixed in the sealing portion 9, which will be described later, and improves fixing accuracy.

The LED 5 has a shell-shaped light-emitting portion 50 formed by embedding a light-emitting element in a light-transmitting resin, and an LED pin 51 that is a pair of terminal pins extending from the light-emitting portion 50. It is an LED element. The LED 5 is electrically connected to the substrate 1 by inserting the LED pin 51 into the second through hole T and soldering. The LED 5 is a display device for displaying, for example, the energized state of the repeater 100 by emitting light and extinguishing the light.

As shown in FIG. 8, the light guide seat portion 6 is a support seat for the LED 5 formed of a light-transmissive resin (for example, polycarbonate) that guides the light from the LED 5 to the outside of the housing 3. It is a light guide window fitted in the portion W. The light guide seat portion 6 includes a light guide seat body 60 that supports the LED 5 and a plurality of columnar contact portions 64 (pillar an example of the part).

The light guide seat body 60 has a rectangular cross section when viewed in the up-down direction, and has a protrusion as a projection formed by raising the central portion of a plate surface 60a (an example of a plate surface portion) that is the lower surface of the light guide seat body 60. A raised portion 61, an exposed portion 62 which is a protrusion formed by further raising the central portion of a plate surface 61a (another example of the plate surface portion) that is the lower surface of the raised portion 61, and an upper surface of the light guide seat body 60. It has a housing portion 63 formed on the side and a pair of cutout portions 65 recessed inside the rectangle. The light guide seat main body 60 of the present embodiment is formed with one notch 65 on each of two adjacent sides. The pair of ribs 38 of the second housing wall 32 are fitted together into the recesses of the pair of cutouts 65, so that the light guide seat 6 is positioned in the left-right direction and the front-rear direction.

The protruding portion 61 and the exposed portion 62 each have a circular cross-section when viewed in the up-down direction. When viewed from the lower surface of the exposed portion 62, the plate surface 61a and the plate surface 60a are formed as stepped portions extending outward in the circumferential direction centering on the exposed portion 62 in this order.

When the exposed portion 62 is fitted into the window hole 39 , the raised portion 61 fits into the second recess 37 and the light guide seat body 60 fits into the first recess 36 . At this time, the plate surface 61a comes into surface contact with the bottom surface 37a, and the plate surface 60a comes into close contact with the bottom surface 36a.

The housing portion 63 is a cylindrical structure formed on the upper surface side of the light guide seat body 60 and extending in the vertical direction. The accommodating portion 63 overlaps the exposed portion 62 when viewed in the vertical direction. As shown in FIG. 9, the inner side of the housing portion 63 has a concave portion 63a into which the light emitting portion 50 is loosely fitted. The housing portion 63 fits the light-emitting portion 50 into the concave portion 63a and supports the LED 5 with the LED pin 51 extending upward.

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 , the contact portion 64 is formed to extend upward in the vertical direction from the upper surface of the light guide seat portion main body 60 , and is radially outward of the accommodating portion 63 . , a plurality (four) of columnar structures arranged along the outer periphery of the housing portion 63 .

As shown in FIG. 10, when the light guiding seat portion 6 is fitted into the window portion W, the lower surface of the exposed portion 62 is exposed to the outside of the housing 3 (see FIGS. 2 and 16). As a result, the light from the LED 5 can be guided to the outside of the housing 3 . When the substrate 1 is accommodated in the housing 3 with the light guide seat portion 6 fitted in the window portion W and the LED 5 accommodated therein, the upper end surface of the contact portion 64 and the lower surface of the substrate 1 are brought into contact with each other. Thereby, the light guide seat portion 6 is sandwiched and fixed between the substrate 1 and the housing 3 . At this time, the contact portion 64 and the housing 3 are separated.

[Description of assembly method]
A method of assembling the repeater 100 will be described.

First, when the light guide seat portion 6 is fitted into the window portion W of the housing 3 and the LED 5 is accommodated in the light guide seat portion 6, the LED pin 51 is supported by the housing 3 through the light guide seat portion 6, and extends upward. It will be in a state of extending toward (see FIG. 10). Further, the first through hole S, the socket 2, and the second through hole T of the substrate 1 overlap the pin P of the housing 3, the support recess 71 of the housing 3, and the LED pin 51 in the vertical direction. , the substrate 1 is accommodated in the housing 3 . Thereby, the pin P is inserted into the first through hole S. As shown in FIG. Also, the support recess 71 can support the socket 2 . Also, an LED pin 51 is inserted into the second through hole T (see FIG. 11). Further, the light guide seat portion 6 (see FIG. 8) is sandwiched between the housing 3 and the substrate 1 and fixed (temporarily fixed) (see FIGS. 3 and 12).

Furthermore, the substrate 1 is fixed to the bosses B of the housing 3 with screws N. As shown in FIG. In addition, the first through hole S and the pin P are electrically connected and fixed by soldering or the like. Similarly, the second through hole T and the LED pin 51 are electrically connected and fixed by soldering or the like.

Further, while fitting the socket 2 inside the through hole 41 of the panel 4, the panel 4 is snap-fitted to the housing 3 to be locked (see FIG. 11).

After the panel 4 is locked, a molten resin or a resin precursor of the sealing material is injected into the area surrounded by the substrate 1, the housing 3, and the panel 4 and hardened to seal the area. , the substrate 1 and the outer peripheral side of the outer frame 44 of the panel 4 are sealed with a sealing material to form a sealing portion 9 . As a result, the substrate 1 is embedded or sealed in the sealing portion 9 and fixed. Further, the panel 4 is fixed by embedding the sealing portion 9 only in the portion of the plate portion 40 on the outer peripheral side as viewed from the outer frame 44 (see FIGS. 1 and 2). Similarly, the light guide seat portion 6 is also embedded or sealed and fixed by the sealing portion 9 . In this way, the waterproof repeater 100 is integrated.

As described above, since the panel 4 is fixed by embedding only the outer peripheral side of the outer frame 44 with the sealing portion 9, the surface (front face) of the inner peripheral side of the outer frame 44 in the panel 4 is It is exposed outside the repeater 100 . Therefore, the design applied to the inner peripheral side of the outer frame 44 in the panel 4 can be visually recognized by the user as it is, and the appearance around the connector is maintained.

When forming the sealing portion 9, the housing 3 containing the substrate 1 and the like is housed in a sealing mold (not shown) having an inner wall surface of the inverted shape of the sealing portion 9. Although it is preferable to use a hot-melt method in which the sealing material is enclosed by pressing, a potting method may also be used.

[Description of sealing state]
By forming the sealing portion 9 as described above, the repeater 100 is waterproofed.

As shown in FIGS. 12, 13, and 14, the area adjacent to the outer periphery of the socket 2 is sealed with the sealing material of the sealing portion 9. As shown in FIGS. Thereby, the area adjacent to the outer circumference of the socket 2 is waterproofed.

14, the area between the panel 4, the sealing wall 70b of the housing 3, the socket 2, and the area between the panel 4 and the notch 32a of the housing 3 is the sealing portion 9. It is sealed with a sealing material. Further, as shown in FIG. 15, the entire periphery of the panel 4 is sealed with the sealing material of the sealing portion 9 . This makes the area between the housing 3, the panel 4 and the socket 2 waterproof.

Further, as shown in FIG. 16, the plate surface 60a and the plate surface 61a of the light guide seat portion 6 are in contact with the bottom surface 36a and the bottom surface 37a of the window portion W, and the light guide seat portion 6 and the housing 3 are separated from each other. The region between them is sealed with the sealing material of the sealing portion 9 . By bringing the plate surface 60a and the plate surface 61a of the light guide seat 6 into contact with the bottom surface 36a and the bottom surface 37a of the window W in this way, leakage of the sealing material at the time of sealing can be prevented. It realizes improvement in waterproofness after sealing (after forming the sealing portion 9).

As shown in FIG. 14, since the boss B and the contact portion 64 are sufficiently separated from the second housing wall 32, the space between the boss B and the contact portion 64 and the housing 3 Also, the sealing material of the sealing portion 9 is filled without creating gaps or air bubbles.

As described above, it is possible to provide a waterproof light-emitting device equipped with an LED and an assembly method thereof.

[Another embodiment]
(1) In the above embodiment, the surface of the support recess 71 includes the first support wall portion 71s, which is the wall on both the front and rear sides of the support recess 71, and the second support wall portion 71b, which is the inner wall of the support recess 71. , the case where the third support wall portion 71a, which is the wall on the lower side of the support recess 71, is included. However, it is sufficient that the surface of the support recess 71 includes at least one of the first support wall portion 71s, the second support wall portion 71b, and the third support wall portion 71a. In particular, the first support wall portion 71s is not limited to having walls on both the front and rear sides of the support recess 71, and may be either the front wall or the rear wall.

(2) In the above embodiment, the panel 4 is snap-fitted to the housing 3 to be locked, but the panel 4 may be locked by another method. For example, the panel 4 may be locked to the housing 3 by screwing.

(3) In the above embodiment, the configuration in which the boss B is sufficiently separated from the second housing wall 32 has been exemplified and explained. However, the boss B may be adjacent to the second housing wall 32 , or the boss B may be formed integrally with the second housing wall 32 .

(4) In the above embodiment, the configuration in which the contact portion 64 is sufficiently separated from the second housing wall 32 has been illustrated and explained. However, the abutment 64 may be adjacent to, in contact with, or in contact with the second housing wall 32 .

(5) In the above embodiment, the plate surface 61a and the plate surface 60a are formed on the light guide seat body 60, and when viewed from the lower surface of the exposed portion 62, the plate surface 61a and the plate surface 60a are exposed in this order. The case where the step portion is formed as a step extending outward in the circumferential direction around the portion 62 has been exemplified and explained. The case where the plate surface 61a contacts the bottom surface 37a of the first housing wall 31 and the plate surface 60a contacts the bottom surface 36a of the first housing wall 31 and is in close contact with each other has been described as an example. However, the plate surface 61a and the plate surface 60a are not necessarily required to be formed on the light guide seat main body 60 as a stepped portion. A slope corresponding to the slope may be formed on the light guide seat portion main body 60, and these slopes may face each other. Alternatively, the lower surface of the light guide seat portion main body 60 and the upper surface of the outer peripheral area (first housing wall 31) of the window hole 39 may simply be brought into surface contact.

(6) In the above embodiment, the plug C is provided, but the plug C is not necessarily required. Further, instead of the plug C, a socket to which the other end of the pin P is electrically connected, a cable serving as a signal line, or another electronic board may be provided.

(7) In the above embodiment, the case where the sealing portion 9 is formed with a sealing material has been described. good.

(8) In the above embodiment, the contacts on the substrate 1 side for electrical connection with the external terminals and electronic components mounted on the substrate 1 pass through the plate surface of the substrate 1, and the electrodes are formed on the inner walls of the holes. A case of a through-hole (first through-hole S or second through-hole T) having a formed through-hole and a land that is an electrode formed in a region surrounding the through-hole on the surface of the substrate 1 is illustrated. Further, the case where the external terminals and the terminal pins (the pins P and the LED pins 51) of the electronic component mounted on the substrate 1 are inserted through these through holes and electrically connected has been described as an example. However, the contacts on the substrate 1 side are not limited to these through holes. Also, the electrical connection with the contact on the substrate 1 side is not limited to the insertion of the terminal pin through the through hole. For example, instead of inserting the terminal pin through the through hole, it is assumed that the terminal pin is surface-mounted (for example, soldered to the land), or the terminal pin is pressed against the land as a spring terminal and connected. It may also form a land.

(9) In the above embodiment, the through holes (the first through hole S and the second through hole T) and the terminal pins (the pin P and the LED pin 51) are electrically connected and fixed by soldering or the like. was described as an example. However, in some cases, the terminal pin is used as an elastic contact such as a press-fit terminal and is simply pressed against the inner wall of the through hole for connection.

It should be noted that the configurations disclosed in the above embodiments (including other embodiments, the same shall apply hereinafter) can be applied in combination with configurations disclosed in other embodiments as long as there is no contradiction. The embodiments disclosed in this specification are exemplifications, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the object of the present invention.
