Description
Claims (15)
- デクレピテーション発生傾向の低下を示す炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の製造方法であって、一次粒子サイズが90μm超で1mm未満の粒子からなる炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が、該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の量に対して0.05乃至5重量%の量の、アルカリ金属化合物類及び/又は酸類及び/又はアルカリ土類金属化合物類の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種の添加剤で表面処理され、該アルカリ土類金属化合物類の25℃における水への溶解度が少なくとも0.5%であることを特徴とする方法。
- 該物質が該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の量に対して0.1乃至3重量%の量の該添加剤で表面処理されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 該添加剤による該表面処理が100℃未満の温度で実施されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムを85重量%超含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ドロマイト及び/又は石灰石が炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質として用いられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 該粒子を20乃至80重量%含む該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が表面処理されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)、ケイ酸ナトリウム(ケイ酸Na)、硫酸ナトリウム(Na2SO4)、炭酸ナトリウム(NaCO3)、炭酸カリウム(K2CO3)、硫酸マグネシウム(MgSO4)又は硫酸(H2SO4)で表面処理されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が該添加剤及び溶媒を含有する溶液で表面処理されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 該アルカリ金属化合物及び/又は該アルカリ土類金属化合物を0.5乃至60重量%の量及び/又は該酸を1乃至98重量%の量で含有する溶液が用いられることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の量の6倍未満の量のSiO2の存在下に表面処理されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ピルキントンによる炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の該デクレピテーション発生傾向が少なくとも10%低下することを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 一次粒子サイズが90μm超で1mm未満の粒子からなる炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質を、該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質の量に対して0.05乃至5重量%の量の、アルカリ金属化合物類及び/又は酸類及び/又はアルカリ土類金属化合物類の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種の添加剤で表面処理してなり、該アルカリ土類金属化合物類の25℃における水への溶解度が少なくとも0.5%である、デクレピテーション発生傾向が低下した炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質。
- 該物質が該粒子を20重量%乃至80重量%含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の物質。
- 該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムをベースとする物質が該炭酸カルシウム及び/又は炭酸マグネシウムの物質に対して硫黄を0.07乃至3重量%、及び/又はナトリウムを0.04乃至4.5重量%、及び/又はカリウムを0.08乃至5重量%の量で含むことを特徴とする請求項12又は13に記載の物質。
- ガラスの製造における請求項12乃至14のいずれかに記載の物質の使用。
