Description
The present invention relates to a tape sticking device for peeling and sticking a strip-like adhesive tape from a release material along a tape sticking surface formed on a workpiece.
Instead of spraying matte black paint on the opening edges of vehicle door sashes, etc., it is possible to apply a good matte black adhesive tape such as weather resistance and abrasion resistance to the door sash opening edges. 1 and
On the other hand, when an operator tries to perform this sticking operation only by hand without using any jigs, it is very high work skill level to accurately perform this at a speed corresponding to the automobile production line. Will be required.
Therefore, for example, a tape sticking device disclosed in Patent Document 3 has been proposed so that the above-described work can be performed easily and quickly without a skilled worker. By using such a tape applicator, an adhesive tape can be applied to a predetermined position of a door sash accurately and quickly without a skilled worker.
When a rubber weather strip is attached to the opening edge of the door sash, a gap may be formed at the interface between the weather strip and the door sash due to these shape errors. Further, the weather strip and the surface of the door sash rub against each other due to vibrations of the vehicle body, and the coating film formed on the surface of the door sash tends to wear and wear out with time. For this reason, in the worst case, the metal substrate constituting the door sash is exposed, and there is a possibility that the metal substrate is oxidized and rusted due to water droplets accumulated between the surface of the door sash and the weather strip. In order to eliminate such problems, adhesive tape is affixed to fill the gap between the weather strip and the door sash, or the coating edge is worn on the opening edge of the door sash to which the weather strip is attached, that is, rusting. It is effective to affix an adhesive tape for preventing this. Moreover, when sticking such an adhesive tape on the opening edge of a door sash, it is thought that it is effective in order to make the workability | operativity easy to utilize some tape sticking apparatuses.
However, all of the conventional tape applicators disclosed in Patent Documents 1 to 3 attach the tape only to a specific surface of the workpiece (for example, the portion facing the outside of the vehicle), and the open end of the door sash There is no intention to apply the tape so that the front and back sides of the edge are sandwiched. Moreover, in these conventional tape applicators, it is basically difficult to operate the tape applicator from the vehicle interior side, and when adhesive tape is applied to the inside (vehicle compartment side) surface of the opening edge of the door sash, Inevitably, I had to rely on manual work.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tape applicator capable of accurately and quickly adhering an adhesive tape to an opening edge of a door sash in a folded state without requiring a skilled worker.
The first form of the tape applicator according to the present invention is an adhesive tape that is detachably attached to a workpiece, and that is peeled from the adhesive tape with a release material so as to sandwich the front and back surfaces of the edge of the workpiece. A tape applicator for folding back and joining a central portion in the width direction, wherein a main body having a guide reference surface that is in contact with one end in the width direction of the adhesive tape and is guided in a vertical state, and the main body The main body is held in a predetermined posture with respect to the workpiece so that the end edge of the workpiece is positioned with a predetermined gap in a direction perpendicular to the guide reference plane of the body. Positioning means for allowing the body to move along the edge of the workpiece, and protruding from the guide reference surface of the main body, the adhesive tape is wound around and faces the surface of the edge of the workpiece A first pressing roller that joins a part of the adhesive tape to the surface of the edge portion of the workpiece, and a rear side of the adhesive tape joining position by the first pressing roller, that is, a downstream side in the passage direction of the adhesive tape (hereinafter, The same is applied to the edge of the workpiece from the surface side of the workpiece, and the non-bonding portion of the adhesive tape interposed between the guide reference surface of the main body and the edge of the workpiece is back side along the edge of the workpiece. A first bending guide member that bends to the edge, and the edge of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is pressed against the edge of the work piece from the back side of the workpiece behind the folding position of the adhesive tape by the first bending guide member, and is bent by the first bending guide member. A second bending guide member that further bends the non-bonded portion of the adhesive tape along the edge of the workpiece so as to approach the back side of the edge of the workpiece; and the second bending guide member A second pressing roller that joins the non-bonded portion of the adhesive tape that is bent by the second bending guide member is also at the rear than the bending position of the adhesive tape with the rear surface of the edge portion of the workpiece, the first A guide plate is provided in a region where the adhesive tape is wound around the pressing roller, and a distance between the guide reference surface and the guide plate is set in accordance with the width of the adhesive tape .
In the present invention, the tip edge portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape peeled from the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape with the release material is stuck to one end in the longitudinal direction of the edge portion of the work, while the tape sticking device is attached to the edge edge of the work using the positioning means. Attach to one end in the longitudinal direction. At this time, the first pressing roller presses against the surface of the workpiece edge via the adhesive tape bonded to the surface of the workpiece edge, and the second pressing roller bonds to the back surface of the workpiece edge. It is made to press against the back surface of the end edge part of the workpiece through the adhesive tape. Furthermore, the first bending guide member between them is bent to the back side along the edge of the workpiece, the non-bonded portion of the adhesive tape interposed between the guide reference surface of the main body and the edge of the workpiece, The second folding guide member interposed between the first folding guide member and the second pressing roller causes the non-bonded portion of the adhesive tape bent by the first folding guide member to extend along the edge of the workpiece. Bend further. From this state, the adhesive tape is drawn between the first pressing roller and the surface of the edge of the workpiece by moving the tape applying device toward the other end in the longitudinal direction of the edge with respect to the workpiece. Then, the adhesive tape is joined so as to sandwich the front and back surfaces of the edge portion of the workpiece.

Can be done well.
When a cutter for cutting the adhesive tape and a cutter operating lever for operating the cutter are disposed between the release material separating means and the first pressing roller, the adhesive tape wound in a roll shape is used. be able to. For this reason, it is not necessary to prepare an adhesive tape whose length is set in advance according to the workpiece, and the management of the adhesive tape is facilitated.
An embodiment in which the tape applicator according to the present invention is applied to a sliding door outer sash of a passenger car will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 11, and the concept of the present invention described in the claims will be described. Any changes and modifications that are included are of course possible. That is, the present invention can naturally be applied to any other technology belonging to the spirit, and is not limited to the embodiment described below, but a linear opening that requires the adhesive tape to be folded and pasted. It can be applied to any workpiece with an edge. For example, the front hood tip of a vehicle, a lower part of a door, a side sill, a wheel arch, and the like, which may cause a gap when a weather strip or the like is mounted, can also be applied to the present invention.
FIG. 1 shows the appearance of a passenger car in which the tape applicator of this embodiment is used. This is a so-called one-box type wagon vehicle in which the rear door 1 is slidable, and a weather strip 3 is fitted in a sliding door, that is, a
FIG. 2 shows the appearance of the tape applicator in this embodiment mounted on a rear slide door outer sash (hereinafter simply referred to as a door sash) 5 as a work, and its side shape, top shape, front shape, and back surface. 3 to 6 are shown in order, FIG. 7 shows a cross-sectional shape along the arrow VII-VII in FIG. 3, and FIG. 8 shows a cross-sectional shape along the arrow VIII-VIII in FIG. .
The
The
Between the
As shown in FIG. 7, the distal end portion of the
A
A
Thus, although the continuous
Cross-sectional shapes along the arrows IX-IX, XX, and XI-XI in FIG. 3 are sequentially shown in FIGS. As shown in these drawings, the
On the back side of the
The positioning means for defining the relative position of the
It should be noted that the configuration of the positioning means needs to be changed to a configuration corresponding to the shape of the
When the
Next, the tip of the
In this state, when the
When the tip of the
