Description
先ず溶銑を排出した直後の溶銑予備処理炉1の炉内に、図1に示すように酸素ランス2を装入し、残存スラグ3に対して酸素ブローを行う。この残存スラグ3は溶銑予備処理炉1の処理末期温度である1300℃付近のホットスラグである。この溶銑予備処理炉1の残存スラグはFeO濃度の低い固いスラグであり、図5のSiO2-CaO-FeOの3成分系状態図においてAとして示す組成を持つものである。その融点は約1600℃であるから、酸素ブローを行う前には固体の比率(固相率)が高い。本発明の酸素ブローの要件は通常純酸素を用いるものであるが、酸素に窒素、CO2などの不純物を多少含んでいても、本発明を逸脱するものではない。

Claims (2)
- 溶銑予備処理炉の残存スラグに酸素ブローを行うことにより、スラグ中のFeO分を増加させてスラグの融点を低下させたうえ、スラグ深さと等しい直径の石灰石を投入してスラグの融点を高めるとともに冷却固化させ、炉内壁に高融点のスラグコーティング層を形成することを特徴とする溶銑予備処理炉の補修方法。
- 石灰石の投入後に溶銑予備処理炉を傾動させ、スラグを装入壁に移動させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶銑予備処理炉の補修方法。
