【発明の目的】
この発明は、アジ、サバ、ブリ、アマダイ、イカ、タコ等といった、船上や防波堤等から釣り上げる比較的大型の魚類を、竿釣りや手釣りによって捕獲する際に有用な捕獲補助具に関するものであって、特に、仕掛けに掛かった魚類を逃がすことなく確実且つ簡単に捕獲することができるようにする新規な構造からなる魚類捕獲補助具、およびそれを使用した新規な魚類捕獲方法を提供しようとするものである。

【従来の技術】
我が国は、四方を海に囲まれているという地理的環境も手伝って釣りは古くからその筋の人々に親しまれてきていたが、新素材や製造技術の進歩で高品質な釣竿や仕掛け等が豊富且つ安価に供給されるようになったことと、経済的な余裕をもてるようになったこと等に起因して、今や国民的レジャーの一つに数えられるようになり、休日ともなれば多くの人々が、防波堤釣りや磯釣り、砂丘の投げ釣り、沖の船釣り、ボート釣り等、多様な釣りを気軽に楽しむことができるようになっている。

このように、多くの人々によって楽しまれるようになった釣りも、仕掛け具合や釣り場の状況判断等の良し悪し等様々な要因でその釣果にも大きな違いが生じてしまうものであって、かなりの経験者にあっても、試行錯誤を繰り返して得た知識を基に釣果を上げる工夫を凝らして釣り場に望み、首尾良く狙いとする獲物の手応えを得て引き上げる段になり、掛かった魚を水面近くまで引き上げたときや、魚体が水面上に揚がった瞬間等に、獲物が危険を察知して餌を放して逃げてしまったり、釣り糸が切れて逃がしてしまう等の失敗が常に付きまとうことから、魚等の獲物を釣り上げ、最終的に捕獲して釣果を得るには、仕掛け具合や釣り場の状況判断の他に、これまでのところでは、絶妙のタイミングで仕掛けを引き寄せて玉網を差し出さなければならいという、最終段階での高度なテクニックを要することとなっていた。

特に、仕掛けの先にタコテンヤを取り付けてマダコを釣る場合等には、タコテンヤに取り付けられた疑似餌やブタの脂身等にマダコが取り付いたのを釣り人が察知して道糸を引き上げようとすると、マダコが海底の岩等に絡み付いて大変重くなり、引き揚げるのに極めて強い力を要することとなる上、うまくそのような事態を回避できたとしても、慎重に引き揚げないと、異常に気づいたマダコが逃げてしまうことになり、しかも、やっとの思いで水面近くの肉眼で確認できる辺りまで引き揚げたときに、タイミング良く捕獲する手段を講じないと、危険を察したマダコが餌を放して簡単に逃げ去ってしまうといった憂き目に遭遇することも頻発することから、特に経験の浅いビギナー等にとっては、極めて難しい釣りの一つとされている。

この発明は、以上のように経験豊富な釣り人でなければ、容易には釣り上げることのできなかった大物の魚や、吸盤をもつ柔軟な足が海底の岩等に絡みついて引き揚げ難いマダコ等を、経験の浅い釣り初心者にも簡単且つ確実に釣り上げることを可能にする釣り用の補助具を提供するこはできないものかとの判断から、逸速くその開発、研究に着手し、長期に渡る試行錯誤と幾多の試作、実験とを繰り返してきた結果、今回、遂に新規な構造からなる魚類捕獲補助具、およびそれを使用した新規な魚類捕獲方法を実現化することに成功したものであり、以下では、図面に示すこの発明を代表する実施例と共に、その構成を詳述することとする。

【発明の構成】
図面に示すこの発明を代表する実施例からも明確に理解されるように、この発明の魚類捕獲補助具は、基本的に次のような構成から成り立っている。
即ち、釣り用の各種仕掛け等に係わらず、竿先から吊下される釣糸を上下方向に通過可能にする程度の所定内径寸法とした環状体であって、吊上げ紐下端を繋着してなるものとした本体枠部を有し、当該本体枠部の周回り所定間隔置き毎の複数箇所には、夫々下方側がやや外側に拡開状となるようにした捕獲腕杆を下向きに延伸、形成し、それら各捕獲腕杆の中途には、適宜選択された重量の錘を固着、一体化すると共に、同先端側を内側に向けて彎曲形成して上向き状となる捕獲爪バリとした構成を要旨とする魚類捕獲補助具である。

この基本的な構成からなる魚類捕獲補助具を、より具体的なものとして示すと、釣り用の各種仕掛け等に係わらず、竿先から吊下される釣糸を上下方向に通過可能にする程度の所定内径寸法とした環状体であって、該環状体の適宜箇所には、道糸の中途部を外側から内側への一方通行で横断、通過可能とするようにした逆止め挿通口が形成されると共に、吊上げ紐の下端枝別れ部分をバランスさせて繋着してなるものとした本体枠部を有し、当該本体枠部の周回り所定間隔置き毎の複数箇所には、夫々下方側がやや外側に拡開状となるようにした捕獲腕杆を下向きに延伸、形成し、それら各捕獲腕杆の中途には、適宜選択された重量の錘を固着、一体化すると共に、同先端側を内側に向けて彎曲形成して上向き状となる捕獲爪バリとした魚類捕獲補助具ということができる。

本体枠部は、釣り用の各種仕掛けおよび道糸部分を比較的容易に上下通過可能とすると共に、下方に向けて延伸された複数本の捕獲腕杆の上端を捕獲した魚類の引き上げに十分な強度を支持可能とする機能を果たすものであり、捕獲対象となる魚類の体に略被冠可能な程度の内径寸法および形状に設定された環状のもの、例えば、平面形で真円環状、楕円環状または三角環状、四角環状、五角環状、六角環状等のような多角形環状、もしくは星型環状、花形環状等のような環状枠から形成されたものとすることが可能であり、それらは、道糸に沿って滑落、降下する際の姿勢の安定を考慮すると、上下所定間隔を隔てて配置された複数の環状体を略同心状の配置とし、適宜連結杆を配したり、後述する捕獲腕杆の上端側を兼用する等してそれらが上下に一体化され、全体として筒型骨格状をなすものに形成するのが望ましい。

環状体は、上記本体枠部の骨格体として主要部をなし、吊上げ紐および捕獲腕杆の夫々取付け支持部として機能すると共に、釣り用の各種仕掛けまたは道糸部分を内部に挿通した後は外れさせてしまうことがないよう機能するものであり、樹脂被膜スチールやステンレス、あるいは強度あるプラスチックや芯金入りプラスチック等強度と共に、耐塩性のある素材によって形成したものとし、道糸への装着を容易にするためには、中途部適所に、後述するとおりの逆止め挿通口を形成したものとし、道糸の中途部分を外側から内側への一方向にのみ横断状に通過可能としたものとするのが望ましい。

逆止め挿通口は、環状に形成された本体枠部の一部に、道糸の中途部を外側から内側の一方向にだけ横断状に通過可能とし、道糸の中途部に後からでも魚類捕獲補助具を装着可能とする機能を果たすものであり、したがって、上記環状体内に一旦装着してしまった道糸を、不用意に外側に外してしまうことのない構造によるものであって、しかも、本体枠部内への道糸の通過、装着作業を工具類等を用いることなく容易に行うことができるようにした各種構造、例えば、環状の本体枠部中途部が、分断されて、その分断開口部に弾性材部によって閉鎖された可動顎を設け、該可動顎に外側から道糸の中途部を強制的に押し付けると、一時的に弾性材部が変形され、可動顎を開放して道糸中途部を通過させてしまい、その直後に弾性材部の弾性復帰力によって再度、可動顎が閉鎖され、道糸中途部が本体枠部内側に、該本体枠部を横断状に通過するようにしたものや、後述する実施例に取り上げているような、本体枠部環状体の中途部適所を切断状として形成された端部の少なくとも一方に、弾性素材からなる短尺パイプの基端部を被冠状に装着し、同短尺パイプの先端が、対峙する他方の端部に環状体内側から弾性的に当接するよう形成したもの等、公知の各種構造によるものとすることが可能である。

吊上げ紐は、魚類捕獲補助具の水中への降下、および水上への引き上げ等の操作を可能とすると共に、上昇ならびに降下の際の魚類捕獲補助具の縦姿勢を維持するよう、本体枠部の平面環形状を略水平状に保つよう吊上げ可能とする機能を果たすものであり、捕獲された魚類を引き上げるのに十分な強度を有するものとしなければならず、捕獲の対象によっては漁を行う漁場の海底あるいは河床に到達可能な長さを有するものとする必要がある。

捕獲腕杆は、夫々の中途部に設けられた錘によって先端側を下方向に向けて降下し、その複数本によって仕掛けに食い付いた魚類の上方から被冠状に取り付いて、魚類をその外周側から把持するように包囲してしまい、それら先端に設けられた捕獲爪バリが、捕獲魚類に刺さることで、確実に捕まえてしまい、魚類捕獲補助具を引き上げるときには、捕獲された魚類が逃げないように引っ掛けて保持するものになるという機能を果たすものであり、本体枠部に形成された逆止め挿通口を挟んで隣接する付近の捕獲腕杆の錘を、逆止め挿通口から離れた位置の他の捕獲腕杆の錘よりも重く設定して全体の重心位置を逆止め挿通口側に移動した状態に設定されたものとし、上下作動の際に満ち糸が逆止め挿通口側に寄らないようにしたものとするのが望ましい。

また、仕掛けに掛かった魚類の上方から被冠状になり易く、しかも被冠状となった後には、強く獲物側を抱持状とするよう、下端の捕獲爪バリ部分を除く全体を弾発性素材からなるものとしたり、あるいは、捕獲爪バリよりも上位となる中途部適所に、魚類上方への進入を容易にした上、当該魚類を強圧し得るようにする、針金、竹、コイルバネや板バネ、あるいは合成樹脂やゴム製の棒等からなる弾性変形部を有するものとするのが望ましいと言える。

錘は、魚類捕獲補助具を所望の水深まで速やかに降下させると共に、魚類捕獲補助具自体の降下中の姿勢を適正に維持した上、その勢いで魚類上方からの被冠作動が確実に発揮されるようにする機能を果たすものであり、全ての捕獲腕杆、もしくは適宜選択された捕獲腕杆の各下端付近の夫々に固着されたものとしなければならず、比較的軽量で取扱い易い重量に設定されたものとすべきであり、本体枠部に形成された逆止め挿通口を挟んで隣接する付近の捕獲腕杆の錘を、逆止め挿通口から離れた位置の他の捕獲腕杆の錘よりも重く設定し、魚類捕獲補助具全体の重心位置を逆止め挿通口側に移動させ、逆止め挿通口側がやや下になる傾斜姿勢となって上下するようにすることにより、道糸が当該逆止め挿通口に触れ難くなるようにすると共に、道糸周りの回転動も発生し難くなるようにしたものとするのが望ましい。

捕獲爪バリは、魚類捕獲補助具内に入り込んだ捕獲魚類が抜出さない方向から刺さり、離脱不能な状態に陥れる機能と共に、海中から水面上まで引き上げる間に渡って捕獲された魚類の重量に耐えて強固に保持する機能を果たすものであり、複数本の捕獲腕杆の下端から互いの中心側に向かって彎曲させた上、環状枠部の中心寄り上方に向けて延伸され、その先端が先鋭状となるよう形成されたものとしなければならず、必要に応じ、捕獲腕杆毎に複数本の捕獲爪バリが熊手型あるいは碇型等に形成されたものとすることができ、先端側の基部付近にカエシ(アゴ)の形成されたもの等とすることができる。

【関連する発明】
上記した魚類捕獲補助具に関連し、この発明には、当該魚類捕獲補助具を使用した魚類捕獲方法も包含されており、基本的に次のとおりの構成から成り立っている。
即ち、対象魚類に応じた仕掛けを水中に投入し、魚類が仕掛けに食い付いた段階に、水上における道糸適所から、各捕獲腕杆が下向きとなる姿勢とした前記魚類捕獲補助具の本体枠部環状体を装着した後、吊上げ紐を送り出し、当該魚類捕獲補助具が、道糸を案内として、その錘の自重によって水中に素早く沈降させていって仕掛け先端に食い付いている魚類にまで到達させ、その勢いで複数の捕獲腕杆が魚類上方から魚類を抱持するよう被冠状としてから吊上げ紐をやや引き上げ、それら各捕獲腕杆下端の捕獲爪バリで当該魚類を引っ掛けた手応えを得たところで、吊上げ紐を引き上げていって当該魚類捕獲補助具諸共、捕獲した魚類を確実に水上まで引き上げ、捕獲するようにした構成を要旨とする、この発明の魚類捕獲補助具を使用した魚類捕獲方法である。

この発明の魚類捕獲方法は、勿論、前記したこの発明の魚類捕獲補助具を使用する魚類の捕獲方法に制限されることになるものの、魚類捕獲補助具内に魚類を導くまでの工程においては特段の制限を受けず、広い範囲に渡っての利用が可能であり、各種仕掛けに応じて、あるいは、釣り場の状況に応じて捕獲方法の細部を変更することが可能である。

また、アジ、サバ、ブリ等比較的大型の魚を吊り上げる場合には、上記マダコ釣りの場合と同様に、海中の所定水深位置まで降下させた仕掛けに魚が食い付いたのを察知した後、直ぐさま当該魚類捕獲補助具を道糸に沿って降下させ、海中の所定水深位置にある仕掛けに到達すると、掛かった魚の上方から覆い被さるように被冠状とするか、あるいは、十分な食い付きを得たときには、釣糸だけで可能な範囲まで吊り上げてしまい、魚影を十分確認した段階になってから当該魚類捕獲補助具を道糸に沿って降下させて被冠状とするかして、各捕獲腕杆下端の捕獲爪バリが魚体に刺さり、抱持、掛着状に捕獲した状態で牽引して引き上げるという手順を踏むことが可能である。

さらにまた、竿を使わない手釣りの場合等には、仕掛けを水中に投入する以前、もしくは水中所定水深位置に投下した直後の道糸中途部に、当りを得る前野段階に予め当該魚類捕獲保護具を装着して置き、魚類が食い付いたのを察知した後、直ちに道糸に沿って魚類捕獲保護具を降下させることができるように準備を整えておいて釣りをするようにすること等も勿論可能である。
以下では、図面に示すこの発明を代表する実施例と共に、その構造について詳述することとする。

図1の魚類捕獲補助具の斜視図、図2の魚類捕獲補助具の逆止め挿通口の斜視図に示される事例は、マダコを釣り上げるための仕掛けとしてタコテンヤ52を使用した場合について取り上げてあり、タコテンヤ52は道糸51下端に仕掛けられ、釣糸5を形成しており、この釣糸5に対して、捕獲腕杆3,3,……を下方に向けて一体化した延伸本体枠部2を吊上げ紐4の下端に繋着してなる構造とした、この発明の最も基本的な構成に基づいて具体化した魚類捕獲補助具1の代表的な一実施例である。

図1には、吊上げ紐4の上端側を省略して示す全体斜視図を示してあり、その図からも明瞭に把握可能となるように、タコテンヤ52全体を上下通過とする略真円形に形成された二つの環状体21,21を、上下所定間隔を隔てた略同心状となるよう配置させ、周回りに等間隔を隔てて配した四本の支柱部(後述の捕獲腕杆3の上端を上方に延長した部分)によって筒形骨格状をなすように形成すると共に、各環状体21,21で、上下に略一致する中途部適所の夫々に、マダコ用の釣糸5の道糸51中途部を外側から内側への一方向にのみ、横断状に通過可能とする逆止め挿通口22,22を形成した上、上段環状体21の複数適所に略鉛直姿勢を保つ状態で引き上げ可能とする吊上げ紐4の、複数に枝分かれした下端を夫々繋着した本体枠部2を有し、当該本体枠部2の周回り等間隔置き毎の四ヵ所には、夫々下向きに拡開状となるよう所定長寸法の捕獲腕杆3,3,……が延伸され、各捕獲腕杆3,3,……の下端寄り中途部には、適宜選択された重量の錘31,31,32,32を固着すると共に、先端を本体枠部中央側に向けるよう上向き状に折曲させた捕獲爪バリ33,33,……を一体形成することによって魚類捕獲補助具1としている。

本体枠部2には、水深を越える長さ寸法、つまり漁の対象となる釣り場の海底に十分に到達可能な程度の長さに設定された釣り上げ紐4の下端を繋着したものとなっており、該釣り上げ紐4は、本体枠部2近傍の中途部適所にスイベルスナップ41やスナップフック、カラビナ等の着脱可能な連結機構を設け、さらにその紐部下端側16cm程度を、四本に枝分かれさせて上段環状体21における各捕獲腕杆3,3,……基端部との結合箇所に縛り付け、本体枠部2の略円筒骨格形状を略鉛直状の姿勢で釣り上げ可能に形成したものにしてある。

本体枠部2上下環状体21,21の捕獲腕杆3,3,……の結合部から外れた中間位置の中の一ヵ所であって、各環状体21,21の互いに上下一致する箇所の夫々には、図2中に示すように、釣糸5の道糸51が十分に通過可能な3〜4mm程度の間隔を開けた切断部が形成され、その何れか一方の端部に合成樹脂製または天然ゴム製の短尺パイプ23の一端側を装着し、同短尺パイプ23他端側が、3〜4mm程度の間隔を開けて対峙する環状体21他方端部に、環状体21の中心側から外径側に向けて弾性的に当接し、該切断開口部を閉鎖するものとした逆止め挿通口22,22が形成されている。

各捕獲腕杆3,3,……は、その先端側を下方に向けて18〜20cm程度延伸され、下方に向かうにしたがって先端側を拡開状とするようにして対峙することしとなる捕獲腕杆3,3双方間の距離を大きくし、対峙するもの同士の最下端間の距離が17〜20cm程度に設定してあり、その形状および素材故に、適度に撓ってその対峙間隔を外力によって容易に拡大することが可能な構造とし、各中途部下端側の適所には、12号と20号とした錘31,31,32,32が夫々適宜選択的に装着されており、この中20号の錘31,31は、逆止め挿通口22を挟んで配置する二本の捕獲腕杆3,3に、12号の錘32,32が、これとは反対側に配置された二本の捕獲腕杆3,3に夫々固着してあり、さらに、各捕獲腕杆3,3,……の下端には、ハリ先を本体枠部2の略中央側に向けて斜め上向き状に折曲させた捕獲爪バリ33,33,……が一体に形成してなるものとなっている。

魚類捕獲補助具1の本体枠部2の形状は、図1に示す真円形ものに限定されるものではなく、必要に応じその他各種平面形状のものに変更することが可能であり、例えば、図8の魚類捕獲補助具の他の実施例の斜視図に示されるように、上下環状体21,21の形状を三角形状とし、軽量な錘32を設けた捕獲腕杆3とは反対側の辺に逆止め挿通口22,22を形成し、その両側に配置する捕獲腕杆3,3に重量の重い錘31,31を夫々装着したものとすること等も勿論可能になるとおり、デザインや成形製、構造強度、単価等各種要因に適った形状のものとすることができる。

【作 用】
