Claims (5)
- クランクシャフト(25)の軸線を前後方向に沿わせてエンジン本体(11)が車体フレーム(F)に搭載され、前記エンジン本体(11)の一部を構成するシリンダヘッド(23)の後部側面に、スロットルボディ(30)を含む吸気装置(28)が接続される車両において、前記スロットルボディ(30)に形成される吸気通路(33)の軸線(C2)が後下がりとなるように前記スロットルボディ(30)の姿勢が設定されることを特徴とする車両。
- 前記シリンダヘッド(23)の吸気ポート(39)に向けて燃料を噴射するインジェクタ(40)が、その噴霧軸線(C3)を前記吸気ポート(39)の湾曲外周側を指向させて前記スロットルボディ(30)の上部に取付けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両。
- シリンダ軸線(C1)を左右いずれか一方に傾けたエンジン本体(11)の前記シリンダヘッド(23)に設けられる前記吸気ポート(39)が、前記シリンダヘッド(23)の後部側面に開口する共通通路部(39a)と、燃焼室(44)の天井面に開口するようにして前記シリンダヘッド(23)に設けられる一対の吸気弁口(42)に個別に連なるようにして前記共通通路部(39a)から二股に分岐する一対の分岐通路部(39b)とから成り、前記共通通路部(39a)の軸線(C5)が前記両吸気弁口(42)間の中央に配置されて前記シリンダ軸線(C1)と平行に延びる平面(PL)に関して前記シリンダ軸線(C1)の傾き側にオフセットして設定され、前記スロットルボディ(30)が、その上下方向に延びる中心線(C4)を前記シリンダ軸線(C1)の傾斜に合わせて同方向に傾かせるとともに該スロットルボディ(30)の吸気通路(33)の軸線(C2)を前記吸気ポート(39)の共通通路部(39a)の軸線(C5)と斜めに交差させるように配置されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両。
- 前記吸気装置(28)がその上流端に備えるエアクリーナ(32)に、前記スロットルボディ(30)に左右方向で横並びのシュノーケル(35)が接続され、前記スロットルボディ(30)が、左右方向で該シュノーケル(35)と反対側に傾斜して配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の車両。
- 前記シリンダヘッド(23)には吸気弁口(42)を形成するバルブシート(43)が固設され、前記インジェクタ(40)の噴霧軸線(C3)が、シリンダ軸線(C1)を含むとともに前記噴霧軸線(C3)と平行な平面への投影図上で、前記バルブシート(43)に交差するように設定されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の車両。
