Abstract
【解決手段】エンジン出力による動力で駆動される燃料ポンプ等により構成される燃料供給システムを対象として、インジェクタの燃料噴射圧力(レール圧力)を、その目標値(目標レール圧力PP)と測定値(実レール圧力NP)との偏差である圧力偏差DPに基づいてフィードバック制御する。このような燃料噴射制御装置として、圧力偏差DPと共に、エンジン回転速度NE、要求吐出量QFIN、燃料温度THF、及び目標レール圧力PPも加味して、レール圧力のフィードバック制御に係るゲインを可変設定するプログラムを備える構成とする。

・前記エンジンの回転速度。
あるいは請求項5に記載のように、
・前記燃料ポンプの吐出量(例えば吐出量の測定値(実吐出量)又は要求吐出量等)。
あるいは請求項6に記載のように、
・前記燃料噴射圧力の目標値(目標燃料噴射圧力)。
あるいは請求項7に記載のように、
・前記燃料ポンプにより圧送される燃料の粘性に係るパラメータ。
などが有効である。これらのパラメータは、燃料噴射圧力(例えばレール圧力)の脈動レベルとよく相関する。まず前述したように、エンジンの回転速度が大きくなるほどプランジャの摺動部分での燃料の流出量(漏れ量)が少なくなり、燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルが大きくなる。また、燃料ポンプの吐出量(目標値に基づき制御)が多くなると、燃料ポンプによる1圧送あたりの燃料圧送量が多くなり、ひいては1回の吸入行程における加圧室の体積(容積)変動が大きくなることで、脈動レベルが大きくなる。また、燃料噴射圧力(目標値に基づき制御)が大きくなると、圧送される燃料が硬くなり(より密になり)、脈動レベルが大きくなる。また、圧送される燃料の粘性が高くなると、プランジャの摺動部分で燃料が漏れにくくなり、燃料の流出量が少なくなることにより、脈動レベルが大きくなる。
Claims (10)
- エンジン出力による動力で駆動される燃料ポンプと、該燃料ポンプの駆動により圧送される燃料をエンジンへ噴射供給する燃料噴射弁とを備える燃料供給システムを対象として、前記燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射圧力を、その目標値と測定値との偏差である圧力偏差に基づいてフィードバック制御する燃料噴射制御装置において、
前記圧力偏差と共に、前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータも加味して、前記燃料噴射圧力のフィードバック制御に係るゲインを可変設定するゲイン設定手段を備えることを特徴とする燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記ゲイン設定手段は、各異なる複数のゲインから1つを選択するための閾値を、前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータに基づいて可変とするものである請求項1に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記ゲイン設定手段は、前記圧力偏差と前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータとに応じて各異なる複数のゲイン領域が設けられてそれら各異なる複数の領域から1つの領域を選択するための閾値が前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータに対して一定ではない態様で設定されたゲイン設定マップに基づき、前記燃料噴射圧力のフィードバック制御に係るゲインを可変設定するものである請求項1又は2に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータの1つは、前記エンジンの回転速度である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータの1つは、前記燃料ポンプの吐出量である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータの1つは、前記燃料噴射圧力の目標値である請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料噴射圧力の脈動レベルに係るパラメータの1つは、前記燃料ポンプにより圧送される燃料の粘性に係るパラメータである請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料の粘性に係るパラメータの1つは、同燃料の温度である請求項7に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料ポンプの燃料圧送量は、同ポンプの燃料吸入側で調量される請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射圧力はディーゼルエンジンのコモンレール式燃料噴射制御システムにおけるコモンレール内の圧力であり、前記燃料噴射圧力のフィードバック制御はPID制御であり、前記ゲイン設定手段は、PID定数を前記ゲインとして設定するものである請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
