【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 ブレーキディスクロータおよび車輪を取
り付けるための径方向外向きのフランジを備えるハブホ
イールと、前記ハブホイールを車体に対して回転自在に
支持する転がり軸受とを有する車両用軸受装置であっ
て、 前記転がり軸受が、内周に転走面を有する外輪と、前記
転走面上において周方向に複数配設される転動体と、前
記外輪の転走面とで対になる一列の転走面を有しハブホ
イールの車両インナ側の外周面に外嵌装着される内輪と
を備えており、 前記外輪の車両アウタ側端部に、当該外輪の車両アウタ
側端面と前記ハブホイールのフランジとの対向環状隙間
を閉塞して転がり軸受の内部をシールするアウターシー
ルが外嵌装着されていることを特徴とする車両用軸受装
置。
