Description

ARTICOLO DI OREFICERIA, ARGENTERIA E BIGIOTTERIA ARTICLE OF JEWELERY, SILVER AND COSTUME JEWELERY

D E S C R I Z I O N E DESCRIPTION

The present invention refers to an article of gold, silver and costume jewelery.

At the current state of the art, there are commercially available jewelry and pieces of costume jewelry that provide an elastic core capable of deforming from the initial resting position to be worn and returning to the initial position or to a conformation that adapts to the wrist, ankle or around the user's neck.

However, these devices have the problem linked to the intrinsic wear of the elastic itself and its theoretical life. The elastic, in fact, after a series of deformation cycles that also depend on the quality of the material with which it is made, yields and breaks.

Furthermore, due to the sharp surfaces of the jewels, this theoretical life is even shorter and therefore even products with excellent quality rubber bands break with a certain ease.

Another drawback of this type of jewelery, silverware and costume jewelery items is that, since the elastic cannot be welded, but only fixed solidly to at least a portion of the piece, they are less versatile, giving greater problems during the of realization, as they cannot be sold as a chain, and cannot be easily repaired.

The aim of the invention is to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks in known types of gold, silver and costume jewelery articles which allow to obtain an elastically deformable gold, silver and costume jewelery article which is more resistant, especially to wear, than to the known art. Within the scope of the aforementioned aim, an object of the invention is to provide a gold, silver and costume jewelery article which can be produced in a simpler and more economical way.

Another object of the invention is to allow also an easy and quick repair in the event of even accidental breakage of the piece.

Another purpose of the gold, silver and costume jewelery article, according to the invention, is to allow it to be marketed in chains, so that it is cheaper, more easily sold and that the length of the chain can be freely chosen by the buyer according to of the various needs.

Not least object of the invention is to provide a closure device for chains, bracelets, necklaces, wrist watches and the like, with means that are easily available on the market and using commonly used materials, so that the device is economically competitive.

This task, as well as these and other purposes which will appear better later, are achieved by an article of gold, silver and costume jewelery, characterized by the fact of comprising a spring continuously developing along a direction of development, a series of ornamental elements that can be engaged smoothly with said spring along said direction of development and means for locking said ornamental elements so that, at each elastic deformation of said spring from an initial position corresponding to the rest conformation of said spring, said ornamental elements remain substantially locked in the initial position.

Ulteriori caratteristiche e vantaggi dell'invenzione risulteranno maggiormente dalla descrizione di una forma di esecuzione preferita ma non esclusiva del articolo di oreficeria, argenteria e bigiotteria, illustrato a titolo indicativo e non limitativo con l'ausilio degli uniti disegni in cui: Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of the gold, silver and costume jewelery article, illustrated by way of non-limiting indication with the aid of the accompanying drawings in which:

la figura 1 rappresenta l’articolo di oreficeria, argenteria e bigiotteria 1 in esploso; Figure 1 represents the article of goldsmiths, silverware and costume jewelery 1 in exploded view;

la figura 2 rappresenta l’articolo di oreficeria, argenteria e bigiotteria 1 in alzato, in sezione; Figure 2 represents the article of goldsmith's, silverware and costume jewelery 1 in elevation, in section;

Figure 3 represents the gold, silver and costume jewelery article 101 in elevation, in section.

With reference to the aforementioned figures, the article of goldsmith, silverware and costume jewelery, according to the invention, which is identified in its entirety with the reference numbers 1 and 101, has the fundamental characteristic of comprising a spring 2 which develops continuously along a direction 10, a series of ornamental elements 3 and 103, for example in the shape of a sphere, slidingly engageable with the spring along the direction of development 10 and means for locking the ornamental elements 3 and 103 so that, with each elastic deformation undergone from the spring 2 from the initial position corresponding to the rest conformation of the spring 2, the ornamental elements 3 and 103 remain substantially locked in the initial position.

Advantageously, each of the ornamental elements 3 (and 103) has a through hole 4 (and 104) for passing and housing the spring 2.

Advantageously, the ornamental elements 3 (and 103) are formed in a single piece.

The ornamental elements 3 (and 103) can be of metallic material.

With reference to the attached figures, the ornamental elements 3 (and 103) are spheroidal and comprise an internal recess defined by an external thickness 9 (and 109).

In a first embodiment, the locking means comprise a succession of stop supports 5 interposed between the spring 2 and the ornamental elements 3, and partly housed within the thickness 9.

The stop supports 5 can also be made of metal.

Preferibilmente, i supporti di fermo 5 presentano una cavità Preferably, the stop supports 5 have a cavity

In the executive example shown in Figures 1 and 2, these stop supports 5 are tubes 5 which have an internal cavity 8 for passage and housing for the spring 2.

Preferably, each of the tubes 5 has at its ends a right-hand thickness 6 and a left-hand block thickness 7 for the sliding of the ornamental elements 3 respectively along the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions of the development direction 10.

With reference to Figure 1, it can be envisaged that the diameter of the section substantially normal with respect to the direction 10 of the thicknesses 6 and 7 is greater than the minimum diameter of the through hole 4. In practice, the right thickness 6 and the left thickness 7 both have a diameter D greater than the minimum diameter d of the hole 4.

If the through hole 4 - which can assume any shape - is not cylindrical with a circular base, but for example cylindrical with a rectangular base, in this case d will be the minimum distance between the two closest parallel sides of the rectangular base .

Un’altra soluzione realizzativa prevede gli elementi ornamentali 103, presentanti un incavo interno 109 ed un foro passante 104, Another embodiment provides for the ornamental elements 103, having an internal recess 109 and a through hole 104,

Another embodiment (101), shown in Figure 3, provides that the locking means for the ornamental elements 103 provide a right fold 106 and a left fold 107 of the external thickness 109. The right and left folds 106 and 107 are defined respectively along the right peripheral edge and along the left peripheral edge of the hole 104. Each right bending 106 and left 107 are of interference with two successive coils of the spring 2.

In this second solution, the locking means are positioned directly on the ornamental element 103 (of which they are practically an integral part) and therefore not only will the production of the gold, silver and costume jewelery article 101 be simpler than article 1, but its weight will also be less (and therefore, in the case of chains in precious metal, much more competitive on an economic level.

Un primo metodo di produzione dell’articolo di oreficeria, argenteria e bigiotteria 1 consiste nelle fasi di: A first method of producing the gold, silver and costume jewelery item 1 consists of the following stages:

- posizionare una molla 2 all’interno di un primo elemento tubolare allungato, ad esempio in materiale metallico, - place a spring 2 inside a first elongated tubular element, for example in metal material,

- tagliare il primo elemento tubolare allungato ad intervalli regolari in modo da ottenere una serie di tubicini 5, liberi di scorrere sulla molla 2, - cut the first elongated tubular element at regular intervals so as to obtain a series of tubes 5, free to slide on the spring 2,

- stampare i tubicini 5 in modo da formare, su ciascuno di essi, almeno uno spessore di diametro predefinito (D), - mold the tubes 5 so as to form, on each of them, at least a thickness with a predefined diameter (D),

Ciascuna strozzatura presenta, al suo interno, una luce di misura (d) inferiore rispetto alla misura del diametro (D) dello spessore dei tubicini 5, in modo che questo secondo elemento tubolare allungato così formato risulti sostanzialmente bloccato quando si va a deformare la molla 2 dalla sua posizione iniziale, e - position the spring 2 and the tubes 5 inside a second elongated tubular element, also preferably made of metal, - form the second elongated tubular element to obtain an alternating series of shapes and bottlenecks at regular intervals: in practice each of these shaping must be preceded and followed by a bottleneck (and, of course, vice versa). Each bottleneck has, inside it, an opening of measurement (d) lower than the measurement of the diameter (D) of the thickness of the tubes 5, so that this second elongated tubular element thus formed is substantially blocked when the spring is deformed. 2 from its initial position, and

- cutting the first elongated tubular element in correspondence with the bottlenecks, so as to obtain a series of ornamental elements 3.

Advantageously, the method comprises the step of molding, at the ends of each of the tubes 5, a right thickness 6 and a left thickness 7 of predefined diameter (D).

Preferably, the forming of the second elongated tubular element is made to obtain a series of substantially spheroidal elements.

This first method allows the realization of the article represented in Figures 1 and 2.

Another method of production of an article of goldsmith, silverware and costume jewelery that allows the realization of the variant 101, reproduced in figure 3, consists of the phases of:

Ciascuna delle strozzature è realizzata nella porzione definita tra due sagomature successive, - forming an elongated tubular element, preferably of metallic material, to obtain a series of alternating shapes, at regular intervals, with a series of bottlenecks. Each of the bottlenecks is made in the portion defined between two successive shapes,

- cut this elongated tubular element in correspondence with the bottlenecks, so as to obtain a series of ornamental elements 103 having a right cut and a left cut, and - fold the first tubular element thus formed along the peripheral edge of the right cut and along the edge peripheral of the left cut, to define on the surface of the element 103 a right opening and a left opening defined respectively by a right bend 106 and a left bend 107 which have dimensions smaller than the measurement of the predefined diameter of the spring 2, so to prevent the movement of the element 103 relative to the spring 2 when the spring 2 is deformed from its initial position.

Once the chain has been made with the first or second procedure, the ends of the spring 2 are fixed to the two extreme parts of the closure chosen to be mounted on article 1 (or 101).
