Abstract

The layout comprises a station sending the material 10, connected by a conduit for transport of the material 30, to a station for receiving the material 20; the material is introduced into the transport conduit 30 by means of pressurised air, at the sending station 10; means 40 are provided which are able to introduce supplemental air into the transport conduit 30 at points of introduction distributed along the course of the transport conduit 30; the pressure of said supplemental air has a value almost equal to that of the air at the sending station 10 or slightly less than that with values which at each point of introduction are not less than the points located further downstream; the flow rate of supplemental air at the points of introduction has a decreasing value from the more upstream point to the more downstream point. <IMAGE>
