Abstract

A small size and entirely autonomous, simply operated by non specialized personnel, portable biofuel-biodiesel production unit that on the one hand can use directly unrefined fat with acidities from 0-15 as raw material, with high content in humidity and sediments, as it is generated from any Rendering and on the other it produces, refines and stores in suitable conditions the generated biodiesel for on site use and energy coverage of the Rendering unit as well as the other plant that installs it, abiding by all the environmental conditions that concern the creation of emissions of gaseous pollutants from combustion and contributing to further improvement of the ecological profile and of energy autonomy of the Rendering units and/or the units that host Rendering processes. The unit has a simple operation, initially it removes humidity and sediments and then in a processing phase it neutralizes acidity and produces methyl ester with high performances. It is possible to install further washing and dry washing mechanisms with filters.
