894,946. Reinforced concrete. COMMONWEALTH SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH ORGANIZATION. Aug. 27, 1959 [Aug. 28, 1958], No. 29393/59. Class 20(4) A method of fabricating a reinforced concrete structure comprises the steps of wholly or partly coating a metal reinforcing member with a hardenable epoxy resin material and placing concrete around the coated reinforcing member before the resin material has finally hardened. The concrete may be placed one hour after coating the reinforcement. The concrete can contain calcium chloride and be subjected to steam curing without causing corrosion of the reinforcement.
