850,778. Hydro-pneumatic springs. MOULTON DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. April 9, 1958 [Jan. 9, 1957], No. 865/57. Class 108(3). A hydro-pneumatic vehicle spring is formed as a sealed unit comprising a flexible diaphragm 2 connected by a rod 1 to a wheel suspension arm on the vehicle, a rubber flap valve 16 which damps the flow of liquid 8 from one side of wall 3 to the other, and a gas filled bag 7. The spring is filled through a plug 11 and is secured to the vehicle body by means of a rubber insulating washer 10. Specifications 824,371 and 825,070 are referred to.
