A combined valve and pressure-gauge unit comprises a screw-down valve V with a branch conduit 60 connected to the gauge G, the latter being supported by a bracket B in the form of a strap 74 surrounding the hexagonal valve body and formed with leg portions 80, 82 attached to a gauge backing-plate 84. The valve is provided with bleed and sampling ports closed by screwed plugs 70 and 72 (not shown).
