Abstract

The invention comprises N-trichloro-methyl-sulphene-sulphaminic amides of the formula <FORM:0789273/IV (b)/1> in which R, R1 and R2 are hydrogen alkyl or aryl, and the process for preparing them by the action of perchloromethylmercaptan on N-substituted sulphaminic amides of the formula <FORM:0789273/IV (b)/2> or their salts. Many amides are specified including sulphaminic butylamides, hexylamides, piperazyl sulphaminic amides, and others included below. In examples, perchloromethylmercaptan reacts with the sodium salts of trimethyl sulphaminic amide, and of the N : N - dimethyl - N1 - 2 - chlorophenyl-, N : N-dimethyl-N1-phenyl-, N : N-diethyl - N1 - methyl-, N : N - dimethyl - N1-(2 : 4 - dichlorophenyl) -, N : N - dimethyl - N1 - nitrophenyl)-, N : N - dimethyl - N1 - (4-fluorophenyl) -, N - alkyl - phenyl - products, N : N - dimethyl - N1 - benzyl -, and N1 - (2 - methox - phenyl) products, morpholinic - sulphoanilide -, morpholinic - sulpho - (4 - chloranilide), pyrrolidine - sulphoanilide, N : N - pentamethylene - N1 - phenyl -, and the N : N - dimethyl - N1 - (1 - naphthyl), and (2 - pyridyl)-sulphaminic amides.
