A collapsible wire crate having all sides hinged together has widely spaced rods f, g joining the lower edges of opposite sides so as not to interfere with the collapsing of the crate, and a mesh bottom formed of rods h, j hinged to the lower edge of one side at k and resting on the spaced rods when the crate is erect. The crate is stated to be an improvement on that described in Specification 725,147.
