675,943. Pipe couplings. FLIGHT REFUELLING, Ltd. Jan. 8, 1951, No. 506/51. Addition to 645,610. Class 99 (i) In the coupling of the parent Specification wherein a sleeve 10, preferably of rubber, fits over the ends of pipes 5, 6 and has grooves 10a engaging bulges 11 on the pipes the sleeve having chamfered ends 9a engaged by screwthreaded sleeves 7, 8 with the interposition of a loose collar 9, the latter is in two halves separated by a diametral parting and preferably held together by a resilient split ring 22. A collar may be located at each end of the sleeve, and a circlip 13 may lock the sleeves 7, 8 against relative rotation. There may be clearances' between the flanges 7a, 8a and the pipes to allow the latter to yield angularly with respect to each other.
