559,359. Resinous polymerization products. FRANKFURTHER, P. March 8, 1943, No. 16230. Divided out of and addition to 558,100. [Classes 2 (iii) and 15 (ii)] [Also on Group VI] The adhesive composition of the parent Specification is modified by replacing the polyvinyl acetate by polyvinyl acetal and including as an essential ingredient a hardening agent, e.g. tannic acid or formaldehyde, in a proportion of 2 to 20 per cent. of the polyvinyl acetal. The polyvinyl acetal may be of high, medium or low viscosity, i.e. having melting points above 160‹ C., 140-160‹ C. and below 140‹ C. respectively.
