Abstract

512,668. Locking washers for bolts &c. PECHE, J. March 2, 1938, No. 6546. [Class 89 (i)] A locking washer 1 for bolts &c. comprises an annular disc of spring thin metal permanently shaped to a wavy form, with integral teeth 4 stamped outwardly from the crests of the waves so that those on one face of the washer project in the opposite circumferential direction to those on the other face, each tooth having a free straight edge substantially radial in relation to the washer. The teeth may be staggered radially, or more than one circumferential series of teeth may be provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the edges of the teeth may be serrated. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 131,007, [Class 89 (i)]
