Abstract

431,152. Bearings. ORTHOLAN, J., 1393, Corrientes, Buenos Aires. Jan. 15, 1934, No. 1407. [Class 12 (i)] In a bearing comprising segments 5 of rubber or like resilient material mounted in a casing 1 by means of guides 2 having lateral flanges which overlap lateral flanges on the adjacent segments when worn, is carried out merely by endwise sliding movement thereof. Partly worn segments may be compensated by segmental members 6 inserted behind the rubber segments 5. The guides may be secured to the casing 1 by rivets 3 or other suitable means such as screws or bolts.
