Abstract
378,845. Electric horns. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. June 23, 1932, No. 17719. Convention date, July 25, 1931. [Class 13.] In an electric horn, a holder bolt 6 is secured in a recess 5 in the bottom of the horn casing 1 which also carries an electromagnet 2. In one form, the electromagnet 2 operates a diaphragm 4 through an armature 3 secured thereto. The bolt 6 and a washer 7 are riveted to the casing and the bolt carries two resilient brackets or holders 9 spaced apart by bushes 10, 11. A clip 13 mounted on a bolt 12 passing through the bush 11 facilitates mounting the horn on a rod 14 which may be in front of a motor car radiator. In a modification a rigid holder 16, Fig. 2, and a rubber bush 17 are carried by the bolt 6. The holder 16 is provided with a bracket 18 for mounting the horn.
