Abstract

Rotary screens. - In rotary screens of the type comprising a drum 1 mounted on a horizontal axis and having a series of scoops 3 arranged parallel to the axis for lifting the materials to be screened and distributing them over the surface of tlte screen, the open ends 3c of the scoops are flared outwardly and the rear ends 3a are curved so as to merge into the surface of the screen. The sides :3b of the scoops are curved continuously and brackets 4, preferably in the form of bolts and tubular distance pieces support the open ends 3<c>.
