Abstract

There is disclosed an apparatus 300 for mooring a structure and/or tensioning a mooring line. The apparatus comprises: a body 325 and a guide portion 305 for guiding at least a first portion of a first mooring line 310 along a mooring line path 320. The body comprises an open channel 365 for guiding and/or seating the first mooring line. Also disclosed is an apparatus (100, Fig 5) for mooring a structure and/or tensioning a mooring line with a guide portion (105, Fig 5) and a lock arrangement (115, Fig 5). The apparatus provides a mooring line path (120, Fig 5) and the lock arrangement is provided on an opposite side of the mooring line path from the guide portion, at least when the lock arrangement is in an unlocked configuration. When in a locked configuration at least a portion of the lock arrangement is provided in the mooring line path.
