Reciprocating sieves.-A frame A, carrying two screens B, C, is supported at one end by a shaft D carried by coiled springs E secured in castings F and at the other end by two helical springs G mounted between each side of the frame and leaf springs H with a sliding support J, and is provided with a pad N adapted to come into contact with adjustable stops M so as to jar the screen and keep its meshes clear. The frame is actuated by an unbalanced pulley 0, and material is fed by a charging hopper P and discharged by the shoots Q and hopper R.
