Abstract

220,237. Tilston, E. Feb. 7, 1924. Locking nuts. - A washer for use in locking-nuts, of the type having a projection on the underside which engages a recess in the work adjacent to the bolt-hole, and provided with radial projections which are turned up to engage the facets of the nut, has one or more rectangular tongues 2 which are cut out around the bolt hole and present square edges to the corresponding recess in the work. Projeotions 4 on the washer are adapted to be bent up to engage the facets of the nut.
