Abstract

A process for producing granules from a solution, the granules, as an industrial product, produced by means of this process, and also the application of this process for isolating a solid substance from a solution, which process comprises slowly adding a solution of a solid substance in a solvent or mixture of solvents suitable for this solid substance, with stirring, to a second liquid or mixture of liquids which is completely or partially miscible at 20 DEG C with the liquid containing the solid substance in solution, but in which the solid substance is insoluble or difficultly soluble, with the proviso that the system contains, should the two liquids not form two phases, sufficient salt to ensure that a liquid two-phase system is formed.
