Abstract

A pin joint assembly for an aircraft landing gear comprises: an elongate joint pin 206; at least one first lug 202, 202a through which the joint pin 206 passes; and at least one second lug 204 through which the joint pin 206 passes. The joint pin 206 includes first and second retaining elements 208 located at opposite ends of the joint pin 206 and arranged to maintain the location of the joint pin 206 relative to the first and second lugs 202, 202a, 204.The pin joint assembly further comprises a resilient member 214, 214a located between one of the retaining elements 208 and one of the first and second lugs 202, 202a, 204, the resilient element 214, 214a being elastically deformable.
