Enlarging, copying, &c.-An enlarging-apparatus is described comprising (1) two concentrically-arranged bellows e, h, Fig. 1, whereof the ends of the one e are attached to the inner side of the partition a dividing the screen room b from the operating room b<1>, and to a frame f mounted to slide in an horizontal direction by means such as a track t and rollers s, while the ends of the inner bellows h are attached between the frame f and the lens board j, which is also mounted to slide horizontally; (2) a focusing- screen frame u also mounted to slide horizontally ; and (3) an horizontally-extending board or distance-piece w passing through the frames u, f and the partition a. The distance-board w can be clamped to the frames f, u by screws y, z. A vignette holder 8 is hung from the rod 11 and is vertically adjustable on the suspending-loop 10. The camera is focused by an endless cord m passing over loose pulleys n, p and a pulley r secured to the rack-and-screw focusing-mechanism. The focusing-screen frame 29, Fig. 4, carrying the focusing-screen 28 in one half and the plate frame in the other half, is mounted on a tilting frame 33, Fig. 5, secured to a carrier 36, which is slidably mounted in the frame u, Fig. 1. The copy-holder consists of a panel 17 fitted with adjustable sliding clamps 19, Fig. 2, and hinged to the sliding frame 6. In copying a transparency, this is mounted in the space c of the partition a, and a condenser is mounted between the light 13 and the negative. The condenser is mounted on a panel 23, Fig. 3, which is vertically adjustable on a sliding frame 25 by means of a screw 26. A holder for sensitive paper is also described consisting of a hinged frame 43 which clamps the paper on to a backboard 45, under the pressure of springs 46.
