Abstract

1429721 Seed and fertilizer drills or spreaders BARFORDS OF BELTON LTD 29 April 1974 [27 Jan 1973] 4268/73 Heading AID [Also in Division B8] A combined seed and fertilizer drill or spreader (not shown) has a hopper 1 which is divided into two compartments by means of a flexible partition 20 which is secured around its periphery to a rigid frame 14 of the hopper but is formed with a preformed bulge within its periphery such that an operator can displace the bulge from one compartment to the other to alter the capacities of the compartments. The partition may alternatively be a sheet of material which is secured at its periphery and is loose within its periphery. The hopper is provided with inner 15 and outer 17 lids.
