Abstract

1417343 Valves SOC GENERALE DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES ET MECANIQUES (ALSTHOM) 8 May 1973 [8 May 1972] 21958/73 Heading F2V In a gas flow regulating valve the flow regulating element 5A is adjusted via co-operating screw-threaded members 6A, 7 sealed from the gas flow by a bellows 8 attached to the member 6A and to a member 7A. The latter is clamped against a seal 9 and forms an abutment against which a flange 10 on the member 7 is resiliently urged by a threaded ring 15 and elastic washer 14. The element 5A is tapered by forming a flat 21 thereon. In a modification the element 5A is cylindrical and co-operates with a tapered passage.
