Abstract
1339191 Dispensing liquids GKN SANKEY Ltd 20 June 1972 [23 June 1971] 29363/71 Heading A4T [Also in Division F4] A drink dispensing machine has a heater tank 11 for water, and a loop 14, 15, so that the water circulates by convection when liquid is not being dispensed, the loop containing a valve 16 having a first state allowing circulation and a second state in which water is the loop is directed from the loop to selector valves 20-23 (at least two being provided), each selector valve being operable to dispense liquid via respective pipework 24-27 leading to a cup station (not shown), and means 124 for venting the selector valves to atmosphere on completion of dispensing . Heater tank 11 may be fed from heater tank 12 supplied by a ball-cock from the main via a valve 28 controlled by an overflow device to close the valve if water escapes from the system. Pipe 17 is an expansion pipe leading back to the header tank.
