Abstract

1338762 Resilient mounting; shaft couplings DEFENCE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 20 May 1971 [9 May 1970] 22527/70 Headings F2S and F2U [Also in Division F4] A fuel burner distributor weight 10 is supported in a fuel pipe 12 of a gas turbine engine fuel system by three closed loops 14 of spring strip, each loop 14 having pins 16, 18 which engage in apertures 20, 22 in the weight 10 and pipe 12. The loops 14 are located in axial slots (24, 26) disposed at 120 degrees in the pipe and weight. The loops are initially circular. They allow relative axial motion of the pipe and weight. The loops 14 may connect driving and driven members, a roller being located inside each loop to give a firmer support.
