1329068 Garage ramp assemblies R T DOCHERTY 27 April 1972 19532/72 Heading B8H A pair of parallel vehicle-supporting main tracks 2 is pivotally mounted in bearings on supports 4 and pivotally supports a pair of secondary tracks 8. In operation, a vehicle is driven up the tracks in the loading position in which the tracks are co-planar, Fig. 2 (not shown), until it passes the point of balance of the tracks 2 which then tilt down to a horizontal position in which they are supported on adjustable supports 13. In the horizontal position of the tracks 2, the tracks 8 assume a substantially vertical position, their inner ends projecting above the tracks 2 to act as stops. Supplementary ramps may be provided on the tracks 2, Fig. 1 (not shown). In a second embodiment, Figs. 5, 6 (not shown), the supports 4 are connected by pivoted links to the rear of a lorry, the tracks being demountable from the supports 4 for transport.
