1,247,369. Azo dyes. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 30 Dec., 1968 [29 Dec., 1967], No. 61618/68. Heading C4P. [Also in Divisions C2 and G2] The invention comprises azo dyes of formula wherein R is an alkoxy group and X is a yellow azo dye moiety. The dyes are used as dyedevelopers in the dye-developer diffusion transfer process described in Specification 804,971 (see Division G2). In examples the preparation by azo coupling of dyes wherein the residue shown above is linked to the phenyl residue of a phenylazo-pyrazolone dye either by way of an ethylene group or directly is described
