Abstract

1,222,659. Vehicle headlamps. PROJECTEURS CIBIE. 5 April, 1968 [21 April, 1967], No. 16521/68. Heading F4R. The lens 1 and casing 3 of a vehicle headlamp are connected together by a plurality of fastening devices each of which comprises a male element 8 and a female element 4 one of which is secured to the lens and the other to the casing. The reflector 2 has a corresponding number of openings 7 through which the devices pass. The openings are preferably fitted over the female elements, which are made of plastics material and expand when the male elements are inserted, thereby locking the reflector in position. Alternatively the openings may be fitted over the male elements and the reflector retained by the female elements.
