Abstract

1,029,170. Moulding test specimen. J. R. DISTASIO. Oct. 22, 1964 [Oct. 30, 1963], No. 43212/64. Heading B5A. [Also in Division E1] Sample cores for testing are taken from concrete floors &c. by means of a cylindrical vessel B inside and resting by a flange 18 on another cylinder A secured to the foundation 10 on which the floor is cast, concrete also being cast inside the vessel B. The vessel B is removed from the cylinder A and the test core then removed for testing by means of a punch inserted through a hole 28 in the base of the vessel B. The cylinder A may be subsequently filled or used for conduits &c.
