Abstract

1,012,749. Ventilating beds. M. TOBOLEWSKI. March 3, 1964, No. 9307/64. Heading A4J. A device for ventilating a bed is adapted to be placed between upper and lower parts 3, 5 of a made-up bed 2 with at least part of the device extending outwardly beyond a boundary of the lower parts of the bed and comprises a flat, hollow box with parallel rectangular top and bottom walls joined by end and side walls, with spaced openings 6, 6a to its interior in at least the top and bottom walls. In a modification the device comprises two parallel end walls and an intermediate partition wall, the top, bottom and sides of the device being formed by spaced parallel rods. The rods may be hollow triangular section tubes engaging in corresponding triangular holes in the end and intermediate walls.
